The Dept of Anesthesiology provides anesthesia services to patients undergoing surgical procedures & pain management services to patients suffering from severe pain post operative.At the CIMS Hospital we have a suite of 8 theaters available, each with an fully monitored and equipped anesthetic room, plus a separate day surgery theater with its own anesthetic room. In addition, outlying areas covered by anesthetic specialists include the 3 Cardiac Cath Labs and CT suites.

Our team of highly skilled anesthetic practitioners assist Consultant Anesthetists in all aspects of anesthesia, including cannulation, induction and intubation (including the Difficult Airway in planned or emergency situations). We provide 24*7 Cathlab support including IABP support which is provided to patients in Cardiogenic Shock.

We have well trained Intensivists who have special interest in Infectious diseases and Respiratory care of Surgical patients to provide specialized care to patient with multiple complications and co-morbidities after any surgery.

Dermatology is concerned with the diagnosis and treatment of diseases of the skin, hair, nails and adjacent mucous membranes. As well as medical problems, such as acne, warts and psoriasis, our dermatologists (skin specialists) are also skilled in cosmetic dermatology, treating problems such as scars and age-related skin deterioration.

The dermatology specialists at the CIMS Hospital have the skills, experience and equipment to perform a wide range of dermatology treatments.

The surgical suite at CIMS Hospital is open for scheduled surgery eight hours a day, five days per week. Surgeons, an Anesthesiologist, Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetists and Registered Nurses are available on an on-call basis for emergency surgery 24 hours a day, 7 days per week.

The department is located on the second floor at CIMS and includes eight fully equipped operating rooms, a minor procedure room and an adjacent postoperative ambulatory surgery recovery suite.

The surgical department provides general, orthopedic, ophthalmologic, oncologic, oral, gynecologic, otolaryngologic and endoscopic services. All physicians and allied health professionals providing surgical care at CIMS Hospital have appropriate credentials and clinical privileges delineated by the Medical Staff and approved by the Board of Directors. Nursing Care is provided for all age groups, with evaluation of each patient on an individual basis.

The surgeon, operating room nurses, and allied health professionals each have a role in preoperative, perioperative and postoperative assessment and care of each patient, as well as in appropriate teaching. When length of stay is minimal (daycare), a serious attempt is made to contact each patient the day following surgery for follow-up.

At CIMS, our team of experienced gynecologists along with round-the-clock medical and paramedical backup, provide tender care to all kinds pregnant and gynec patients.

The department has constantly updated its service component with appointment of super-specialists, which resulted in specialty outdoor services in Pediatric Cardiology and Developmental Pediatrics and Rheumatology. Some other specialty outpatient clinics are in pipeline, besides regular outdoor services operating daily excepts on Sundays. Well-trained neonatologist adds to the care of the newborns.

Nephrology Department at CIMS Hospital has four dialysis machines. The department functions round the clock.The Department takes care of all types of nephrology cases, e.g. acute renal failure, chronic renal failure, acute and chronic nephritis, nephrotic syndrome, renovascular hypertension, collagen disorders involving kidneys etc.

    Being a international level hospital, complicated cases are referred to this department from various other centers.
    Facility for CRRT (continuous renal replacement therapy) for critically ill patients requiring dialysis is also available.
