CSL2101 Terminal operates in a Point-to-Point or Point-to-Multipoint (Mesh Network), Master-Slave or Peer-to-Peer architecture. In a network one transceiver is configured as Master and remaining as Slaves. Initially for establishing RF link between Master and Slaves, slave devices will identify connection requests discharged by the Master. Each CSL2101 terminals has a unique Device ID. In a network, CSL2101 terminals communicate over a unique PAN ID and Channel.
CSL2101 features an RS-232 or RS-485 interface for integrating legacy data systems. CSL1201 is housed in a compact and rugged Anti-slip Plastic (ABS Standard) enclosure. The compact size of CSL2101 makes it easy to use in temporary networks, mobile units and fixed installations. The PAN ID and Channel number of CSL2101 can be modified using the configuration software available. CSL2101 supports RS-232 or RS-485 (2-wire Half Duplex) protocols. Same network can have CSL1201 with RS232 and CSL1201 with RS485.
