Choithram Netralaya with support of Orbis International, which is a New York based non profit organization is working to eliminate avoidable blindness amongst children, runs a state of the art pediatric ophthalmology unit. The Pediatric Department has a child friendly environment with play area, video room and feeding rooms for mothers. Refractive errors, lazy eye, squint (crossed eyes), cataract, pediatric glaucoma, watering eye problems, retinopathy of prematurity etc are treated with latest technology and well qualified team of doctors.
