First aid facilities are available for minor ailments in the campus and a doctor visits the campus on specific days and time to ensure good health.

On production of certified ill- health, a student may get 10% of the attendance condoned on payment of prescribed fees.

Self study and reading are important skills towards developing skills towards developing the habit of life-long learning which is an important tool for the future careers. For this purpose a well equipped and stocked library with different course books, journals, magazines, periodicals and newspapers is available. Each and every student is inspired and encouraged to the library in leisure time.
General
The library is kept open throughout the year except on the notified public holidays declared by the college. On weekdays, the library is kept open from 9.00 to 8.00 p.m. and up to 10.00 p.m. during the examination period. On Saturdays and Sundays, the library timings are 9.30 a.m. to 6.00 p.m. A separate reading hall is kept open round the clock throughout the year.

Supplementary materials: the course helps the learners to understand the structure of a textbook as well as asses its strengths and weaknesses. Since teachers have little control over the production of textbooks it becomes essential to train them to produce supplementary materials to overcome the weakness of a textbook.
