This made him start a service center. He, then started a small service center, which is now being upgraded as India's largest one within a short span of 5 years. Right from the first sounding vaccum tube technology to the technology of digital sounding systems, Power Electronics proud its ability in handling the same. M.J.Thankachan and his service team is proud to highlight the outstanding success of his company in servicing world-wide recognized brands, such as Krell, Carver, McIntosh, Arcam, Adcom, Nad, Nakamichi, Yamaha, Denon, Onkyo, etc. Confident, on their well equipped service station to repair right from the systems of ancient technology to updated technology versions. His dedication complimented by a committed team saw an ever-rising client base throughout the country. The company extends its commendable service with an area of 2500 sq.ft., in the heart of Chennai city.

As days passed, he planned an assignment to design and develop his own audio system with quality consistency, by the brand name of TORVIN. His abiding interests for audio technology encouraged him to research and develop the best possible audio system, and entrusted him to establish a new organization in the name of Power Electronic Industries. The company has grown from a small, custom service center to a leading audio system manufacturer.

Power Electronic Industries is uniquely placed in the South Indian market as the leading designer and manufacturer innovative quality systems. Mr. Thankachan picked up the threads of both the art and technology, amalgamated both, and set about designing exquisite systems.
