Dextrine is one of a number of carbohydrates having the same general formula as starch but a smaller and less complex molecule. They are polysaccharides and are produced as intermediate products in the hydrolysis of starch by heat, acids and enzymes. Their nature and their chemical behaviour depends to a great extent on the kind of starch from which they are derived.

Water Borne Adhesives
Our range of water borne adhesives offer superior adhesive properties to difficult and transparent surfaces like glass, siliconised glass/vials, PET/ HDPE containers etc. Our synthetic adhesive films are white or transparent and thus provide for a superior finish to your products. We offer ice-water resistant adhesives for labelling of bottles on fully automatic machines, which find use in the brewery industry. Our adhesives for vials and siliconised vials are much favoured by the pharma industry. Our Casein adhesives are used for labelling on oil and aluminium tins. Our PS adhesives are used widely in the manufacture of pressure sensitive labels and miscellaneous applications.
We manufacture PVA solutions and Adhesives at constantly uniform properties and which are resistant to moisture and dry faster. In addition, we modify them in many ways and are often combined, to obtain the best characteristics for a particular application. Our synthetics adhesives impart strength, flexibility and have greater spread on an adherend surface, thereby making them very viable as alternatives, to other adhesives.
Hot Melt Adhesives
Hot Melt Adhesives are employed in many industrial applications. Based on thermoplastic resins, which melt at elevated temperatures without degrading, these adhesives are applied to the adherend and which form hard bonds highly resistant to the vagaries of weather.
Hot-melts find wide application in many fields. Their utility however is limited by the lack of high temperature strength, the upper temperature for many being in the range of 40 - 70° C. Our adhesives however have been formulated and modified to give enhanced adhesion, higher heat capability and greater flexibility of end use.
These are composed of polymers which are giant molecules or macromolecules, formed by the linking of thousands of simpler molecules known as monomers. These co-polymer emulsions have enhanced characteristics imparting strength and flexibility. They have a greater spread over the adherend surface and are useful in textile sizing, pressure sensitive and laminating applications.
Modified Starch is prepared by the physical and chemical modification, which results in excellent properties and which makes it possible to use in a variety of applications for the packaging industry. They possess a good degree of water resistance and provide hard bonds, both properties very much in demand for this industry.
