The Scorpio Air slide a low cost economical fluidized discharge system to carry dry bulk materials in two ways open air slide and another is closed air slide. In the closed air slide, the material is carried from one end to another end, the angle should be in between 6-9 deg, The closed air slide has got two chambers, smaller one at the bottom for the air and bigger one for the material, in between the two chambers there is a special fabric from which the air goes in to the top chamber and fluidize the material, thus the material starts flowing from higher end to lower end at the rate of 50—600 TPH approx.
The other type is open air slide, this system is very good to extract dry bulk material from silo upto 30000 tonnes and more capacity, this air slide system is arranged at the bottom of silo in a particular way and the slope is given towards opening side, there is a gap in between the bottom silo slab and open air slide, the fabric in this system is mounted on a perforated plate and then fixed with the bottom slab of sil
Finely powdered materials tend to create hazardous and unhealthy dust clouds at the unloading / discharging point and create pollution problems and material wastage. A simple and inexpensive solution is to use a Bag Dump station which allows convenient and dust free unloading of manually cut bags. The Scorpio’s Bag Dump Hopper is suitable for manually unloading the contents such as powders, pellets, flakes, granules etc of standard 50 kg / 25 kg. bags.
Construction: It consists of an integral hopper into which contents of the bags are manually unloaded. The hopper is fitted with a mesh to separate thin and long fibres. A dust filter is mounted onto this hopper. The dust filter operates with a reverse pulsejet cleaning mechanism. Dust generated while emptying of the bag, is collected onto the filter bags and dislodged by the air pulses. A centrifugal fan mounted above the filter unit evacuates dust free air to atmosphere. This unit is available in both Mild Steel and SS304 contact parts.
Used in Pneumatic Conveying Systems as the final element to prevent any dust carry-over to the environment. The bag cleaning is done by an electronically controlled valve with timer. Bag filter are floor mounted with a suitable integral collection hopper and a discharge valve. Bag filters are available in different sizes and material of construction depending on applications. Scorpio can manufacture top loading, bottom loading and side loading of the filter elements to suit critical site requirements.The dust particles down to 0.3 micron can be filtered by a special filter elements.
Used as an aid to solve flow problem in silos and bins as they provide continuous discharge at uniform rates and deaerate the material to a uniform bulk density. Silos can have lesser wall slopes and lower headroom. Available in both mild steel and stainless steel construction.

Scorpio’s F.I.B.C. (Flexible Intermediate Bulk Containers) FILLERS and UNLOADERS are completely self-contained units that come in a “ready - to - use” condition. All you have to do is provide a one-point power and compressed air supply! Our Unloading machines have special built-in sequentially operated massager units that gently push the material out of the bag discharge opening. Our Big Bag Fillers can automatically fill big bags to correct weights using bag inflation and high speed filling sequences with integral load cell systems.

The system enables comprehensive data acquisition, monitoring and control functions to be performed in a user friendly environment Typical tasks performed by the Control System relate to operational safety, managing the sequence of operations, closed loop control for batching operations and control of process by means of measured parameters like level, weight etc.,
The user interface to the Control System is through means of a Personal Computer based Operator Station. This Operator Station provides a real time view into the operations of the plant besides archiving of key process data.

Ship loaders are rail mounted or tyre mounted jetty based units with telescopic loading belt conveyor discharge and dust free telescopic loading spouts for loading the ship without environmental pollution. The ship loaders can receive cement from the cement plant through a suitable conveyor which can integrate with the loader. Generally, the rail mounted units are less expensive and easier to engineer and supply and more stable. Loader capacities will depend on the allowable load on jetty and are generally in the range of 1000 - 2000 TPH.

Scorpio Bucket Elevators are designed for heavy-duty operation and long life and are used to facilitate transportation of measured quantities of bulk materials through buckets in vertical direction. The pneumatic conveying is an enclosed; dust free and environment friendly method of conveying dry powdered material in a pipeline through air without much moving parts. The scheme can be routed conveniently above the plant working area and can have bends and turns to reach the final destination point. For conveying materials such as powders, pellets, flakes and granules only of sizes from a few microns to about 6/8mm maximum, the advantage of pneumatic conveying outweighs any other conventional conveying systems except for the fact that it consumes power.
Automatic Bag Slitters The MULTICUT is a versatile automatic slitter and earns its name owing to its ability to cut any type of bag be it paper, or HDPE. It is ideally suited to Indian conditions where the raw materials in bags are not properly sealed. In the Multicut, the bags are impaled on to a high-speed cutting knife. To impale the bags against the knife the machine literally "drops " the bag from a height of about 1 meter on to the blade. The moment the bag is slit, the material spills out. After this, the cut bag is tumbled in an inclined wire mesh drum in which the bag is repeatedly lifted and dropped as it moves forward to the exit. Material falls through the mesh to a collection hopper while the cut bag pieces find their way to a bag compactor.An integral dust extraction system ensures dust free operation while the bags are being cut and tumbled.
SCORPIO BULK TRUCKS are used to haul a major amount of dry bulk material across large distances from supplier to user for industries such as Food, Minerals, Cement, Chemicals, Petrochemicals etc. Proper logistics can lead to low inventories. Silos at user plant can be filled in a few hours (Bulk Truck capacities range from 4 to 30 tonnes per hour depending on material characteristics like bulk density, particle size distribution, air retention / permeability etc.)

Dense Phase Transporters (Denseflo Vessels) are the heart of systems handling material pneumatically in dense phase mode. They consist of a Coded Pressure Vessel with specially designed valves, instrumentation and controls. Manufactured in a range of volumes from 300 litres to 20000 litres for efficiently transporting a wide range of materials in various grades. Valves and instrumentation are fully automatic and controlled by PLC or PC. Vessels are available in both Mild Steel and Stainless Steel constructions.
The ideal conveying distance can be 300 to 500 mtrs, with addition of Air booster line material can be conveyed up to 1000 mtrs.
Scorpio Open Truck Unloader is a mobile bulk material unloading unit designed for unloading dry bulk materials from standard open trucks. Many materials which are low in cost cannot be transported in bags and are often transported loose in bulk in standard open trucks. The unloading of this loose material after the truck reaches the destination is now done manually creating major dust and health problems. The OTU is designed to eliminate such manual unloading.
The unit consists of a hydraulically articulated 3-arm boom with a suction nozzle and suction pipe attached to it. This boom will enter the truck from the rear and is operated by a radio remote controlled hand held pendant unit.
Scorpio Mobile Hoppers (capacities range from 30m3 to 120m3) are suitable for receiving grab unloaded material from large dry bulk carriers carrying powdered materials like Coal, Iron Ore, Alumina, Rock Phosphate, Grain, Fertilizer etc.
The hopper can discharge to a belt conveyor or to trucks parked below. Suitable discharge arrangement can be provided which can also be controlled electrically along with weighment. The equipment consists of a hopper in Mild Steel construction which is supported on four vertical corners by running gear. Four bogies are independently driven and are synchronized.
The entire unit is built with low center of gravity so that the unit can be towed effortlessly by suitable prime movers.
