RESOLVE maintains a team of highly qualified and experienced welders, with 30 + years experience working in Dutch Harbor. We offer pier side service with an on-site full time Dutch Harbor team. This skilled team offers clients of the fishing, oil and gas, and cargo transporters industry top notch welding assistance for any unforeseen problems they may encounter while navigating the Bering Sea, Western Alaska, and Aleutian Island waters.

RESOLVE’s staff of full time, onsite welders are ABS (American Bureau of Shipping) Certified and take pride in providing all vessels with the highest quality and most expedient service.

Our pier side machine shop has been newly outfitted to fully meet the needs of measuring, balancing, and welding propellers up to 90″ in diameter. We provide propeller repair and replacements as well as plasma arc-cutting machine work, and have multiple types of welding, burning, and cutting machines with various capabilities including stick, wire, and heliarc.

RESOLVE’s Dutch Harbor dry dock is a completely refurbished testament to our commitment to provide first class quality work despite the remote location. Our dry dock has a 1,000 ton capacity at 2’06” freeboard, keel blocks at 185’ and an inside width of 45’06”.

RESOLVE’s Dutch Harbor dry dock provides emergency repair and maintenance services to the entire Western Alaska maritime community, including those vessels transiting the Bering Sea. Our welders and laborers provide expedient, top-notch services while prioritizing safety at all times. Besides using our heavy lift equipment for salvage operations, we provide use of this equipment to the marine construction industry.

With decades of experience managing vessels operating in all US Captain of the Port Zones, the Resolve Marine Group capitalizes on our vast maritime experience to deliver Jones-Act Compliant, Walk-to-Work (WTW) vessel services developed to ensure wind-energy harvested from offshore farms continue to satisfy the ever-growing demand for electricity.  Utilizing Bibby’s specialty Wavemaster 1 (W2W) vessel, Resolve ensures workers are safely transferred to the at-sea wind turbines with the added benefit of expert emergency response, stand-by firefighting, logistical and safety training capabilities.
