Cylinder Liners manufactured by the "Centrifugal Cast Process" is acknowledged to be the best method. In the centrifugal casting process, the molten metals is poured into a metal mould or die which is revolving at a high speed. The centrifugal force causes the metal to distribute itself evenly around the die. Crown International also manufactures Centricast Liners, Centrifugal Liners and Chromed Bore Liners for automobile applications.

Our expertise lies in manufacturing high quality Sleeves. Our Sleeves are reckoned for having excellent casting and machining qualities that add to the durability and performance of the engine they are fitted in. Our Sleeves are available in wide range suitable for varied light, medium and heavy duty applications. Further, we make our Sleeves available at very competitive prices.

We have in-house centrifugal casting foundry and machine shop following lean-manufacturing and environment friendly practices to produce Sleeves that are metallurgical perfect, dimensionally accurate and competitive priced. The Sleeves are manufactured using the centrifugal casting process, which gives a uniform micro structure and eliminates blow holes and other casting defects by using the centrifugal force of a die rotating at a high speed to force out casting defects and impurities.

Attributes

  • Uniform metallurgical composition and micro structure
  • Use of standard material grades to withstand greater ignition pressures at higher speeds
  • Excellent wear properties for optimum life of liner and piston rings
  • Honing processes resulting in finer surface finish and reduced oil consumption

Range

  • Dry Sleeves (Fully-Finished and Semi-Finished)
  • Wet Liners
  • Air-Cooled (Finned) Blocks

Sleeves Made of

  • Grey Cast Iron (GG25 Grade / Any other composition as required by customer)
  • Steel with Chrome Plating on Bore

Specifications

  • The dry sleeves are 'cast-in fit', force (press) fit or slip fit.
  • Interference between its outer diameter and engine block wall depends on fit-type from 0.050 to 0.075 mm

Product Range (Please contact us for complete range)
We can develop Sleeves as per customer samples and / or drawings. We have developed more than 5000 different liners ranging from 50-250 mm in diameter.
