We can proudly claim that most of the prominent Malayalam dailies have been designed by us, at one time or other. Starting from inhouse redesign at Malayala Manorama to consultancy redesign of Deepika, Mangalam and Mathrubhumi, we had also designed the youngest daily in Malayalam, Thejas.

English and Malayalam, we have designed Magazines in both languages for specialisations as diverse as current affairs to technology, photography to literature. In fact a few of our clients have had their magazines redesigned and re-redesigned by us after a gap.

Even before Gutenberg's period, Books have been epitomes of design elegance. An attractive cover together with an elegant page design combined with judicious use of type and images can make the subject come alive.
Design Difference have designed coffee table books, reference books, diaries and directories for many clients, in addition to setting down the Publishing Standards for a major publishing house in the country. We usually provide the cover template and inside page templates with specifications and check the final design for conformity. In rare cases we have even designed books in totality.

Newsletters being smaller than a magazine, with a content structure more like a newspaper, present a unique challenge.
We have successfully designed newsletters for various companies and organisations. DCSMAT''s New Horizons, Alzheimer''s Disease International Association Conference 1998''s Vartha, D C Books'' Tumbi News''n''More: the Children''s Newspaper, Lumiere News and ICSF Yemaya being just a few of them. Using our templates and specifications, publishers can layout their newsletters easily, issue after issue.

Designing Annual Reports and Project Reports require considerable skills. Designing the cover, contents page, general pages, index, bibliography, charts, graphs and photographs require attention to detail. The design needs to adhere to the house style strictly. And to get them printed in small volumes in high quality is another task in itself.
We have designed and printed a few reports for CDD Society Bangalore including ASA North-South Report, Case Study and an Operations & Maintenance Manual for their DEWATS installations. Spread over many pages and interspersed with charts, graphs and photographs these reports are marked by their sobriety.

We have extended our expertise in publication design to Journals and House Magazines. By designing their mastheads, page layouts and typical elements we have extended their corporate vision into the publication while defining an identity of their own. In some cases we have even given them a detailed Stylebook and Templates.
The very fact that our clients include an Oil Refinery, a Management School, a Management Association, a Socio-Cultural Organisationand an NGO illustrates the reach of such a service.
