Feldspar Mineral

We supply optimum quality of Feldspar, the most common mineral on the face of the earth. These quartz mineral are found in different varieties and colors. Our range is best known for their durability and is widely used as a semi-precious gemstone.
Potash and soda feldspar occur a s essential constituents of granite, syenite and gneisses. However, workable deposits are found in pegmatite venis constituting mainly of feldspar, quartz-feldspar veins and also occur with mica pegmatites. Feldspar is of widespread occurence and is mined in almost all countries. Feldspar are aluminosilicates. Their fisibility and purity make the a useful raw material with many industrial applications.+ Read More

Model Name/NumberFeldspar Mineral

Feldspar is primarily used in industrial applications for its alumina and alkali content. Feldspar is widely recognized for its superior chemical properties, whiteness, negligible iron content and unparalleled quality consistency. The chief use of Feldspar is in the Ceramic and Glass Industries. Smaller quantities are used in the manufacturing of Tiles, White ware and Sanitary ware.
  • KAlSi3O8 - Orthoclase
  • KAlSi3O8 - Microcline
  • NaAlSi3O8 - CaAl2Si2O8 - Plagioclase
In the manufacture of high-class, colorless glass, feldspar should have a maximum of 0.1% Fe2O3 though up-to 0.3% is permissible.

Other uses of Sodium feldspar include Catalysts, Acid resistant and Decorative Stone as a flux or binding agent in certain scanning soaps and artificial teeth.

Potassium Feldspar ideally improves strength, toughness and durability of Ceramic body, etc.
