LIPHOLYN 50 INJECTION contains Amphotericin B which belongs to the group of medicines called Anti-fungal agents. LIPHOLYN 50 INJECTION is used to treat invasive fungal infections in patients who are resistant/intolerant to conventional Amphotericin B therapy.

LIPHOLYN 50 INJECTION is not recommended for use in patients allergic to Amphotericin B. It is also not recommended for use in patients with common/superficial, clinically inapparent fungal infections (which are detectable only by positive skin/serologic tests).

Before receiving LIPHOLYN 50 INJECTION, inform your doctor if you are neutropenic, and/or have liver problems (such as hepatic impairment), and suffer from kidney problems/undergoing dialysis.

LIPHOLYN 50 INJECTION should be used with caution in pregnant and breast-feeding women only if it is clearly necessary. It is also used with caution in children and adolescents (aged below 18 years) and in elders (aged above 65 years) after consulting with the doctor.

The most common side effects of receiving LIPHOLYN 50 INJECTION are fever, chills, and/or rigors. Consult your doctor if any of these symptoms worsen.

LIPHOLYN 50 INJECTION binds to ergosterol (steroid present on the cell membranes of fungi) which leads to the formation of pores and ion leakage on the cell membrane resulting in fungal cell death thus treating invasive fungal infections in affected individuals.

LIPHOLYN 50 INJECTION will be given to you only by a doctor or a nurse into a vein as an intravenous infusion. Your doctor will decide the correct dose and duration for you depending upon your age, body weight and disease condition.

Amfoterol 50 mg Injection 1's belongs to a class of medication called 'antifungal' used to treat severe fungal infections like leishmaniasis. A fungal infection is a disease in which fungi attack the tissue and cause infection. Fungi are commonly present in nature but do not cause infections normally. However, if the person has a weak immune system, certain types of fungi may infect them. 

Amfoterol 50 mg Injection 1's contains Amphotericin B, which kills fungi by destroying the fungal outer cell membrane. The fungal cell membranes are essential for their survival as they prevent the entry of unwanted substances into the cells and stop the leakage of cell contents.

Amfoterol 50 mg Injection 1's is given by a doctor or nurse. In some cases, you may experience fever, chills, irregular heartbeat, high or low blood pressure, breathing problems, nausea, vomiting, headache, shaking, muscle cramps or pain. Most of these side effects of Amfoterol 50 mg Injection 1's do not require medical attention and gradually resolve over time. However, if the side effects persist or worsen, please consult your doctor.

If you are allergic to Amfoterol 50 mg Injection 1's or any other medicines, please tell your doctor. If you are pregnant or breastfeeding, it is advised to inform your doctor before using Amfoterol 50 mg Injection 1's. Amfoterol 50 mg Injection 1's is not recommended for children below one month as the safety and effectiveness were not established. Avoid driving after taking Amfoterol 50 mg Injection 1's as it may affect your ability to drive. If you experience severe adverse effects such as chest pain or difficulty in breathing, or encephalopathy (a brain disease which may cause you to behave strangely, be confused or feel drowsy), seek immediate medical help.

Amphotericin B liposomal is used for treating fungal infections in certain patients, including patients who cannot use other forms of amphotericin B. It is used to treat cryptococcal meningitis in HIV patients and to treat certain protozoal infections (visceral leishmaniasis). It may also be used for other conditions as determined by your doctor.

Amphotericin B is an antifungal antibiotic. It works by killing the fungus and preventing its reproduction.

Amphotericin B is usually administered as an injection at your doctor's office, hospital, or clinic. If you are using it at home, carefully follow the injection procedures taught to you by your health care provider.

Check with your doctor if any of these side effects persist or become bothersome: Chills; coughing; fever; headache; loss of appetite; muscle or joint pain; nausea; rapid heartbeat; sleeplessness; stomach pain; weight loss. Seek medical attention right away if any of these side effects occur: Severe allergic reactions (rash; hives; itching; difficulty breathing; tightness in the chest; swelling of the mouth, face, lips, or tongue; unusual hoarseness); blood in the urine; chest pain; convulsions; dark, bloody stools; decreased urination; diarrhea; dizziness; easy bruising or bleeding; fast breathing; fast or irregular heartbeat; hearing loss; pain, redness, or inflammation at the injection site; swelling of the hands or feet; unusual tiredness or weakness; vomiting; yellowing of eyes or skin.

If you miss a dose of amphotericin b liposome, contact your doctor immediately.

If amphotericin b liposome contains particles or is discolored, or if the vial is cracked or damaged in any way, do not use it. Do not use amphotericin b if:<br/>you are allergic to any ingredient in amphotericin b liposome (including soy)<br/>you are taking an azole antifungal (eg, ketoconazole)<br/>Important safety information:<br/>Amphotericin b liposome may cause dizziness. Do not drive, operate machinery, or do anything else that could be dangerous until you know how you react to amphotericin b liposome. Using amphotericin b liposome alone, with certain other medicines, or with alcohol may lessen your ability to drive or perform other potentially dangerous tasks.<br/>It is important to use amphotericin b liposome for the full course of treatment. Failure to do so may decrease the effectiveness of amphotericin b liposome and may increase the risk that the fungus will no longer be sensitive to amphotericin b liposome and will not be able to be treated by this or certain other antibiotics in the future.<br/>To reduce side effects, your doctor may prescribe other medicines before the administration of amphotericin b liposome.<br/>LAB TESTS, including kidney function, liver function, blood counts, and serum electrolytes, may be performed to monitor your progress or to check for side effects. Be sure to keep all doctor and lab appointments.<br/>Use amphotericin b liposome with extreme caution in CHILDREN younger than 1 month of age. Safety and effectiveness in this age group have not been confirmed.<br/>To clear up your infection completely, continue using amphotericin b liposome for the full course of treatment even if you feel better in a few days. Do not miss any doses.<br/>Keep this product, as well as syringes and needles, out of the reach of children. Do not reuse needles, syringes, or other materials. Dispose of properly after use. Ask your doctor or pharmacist to explain local regulations for proper disposal.

Anolip Injection is an antifungal medication. It contains amphotericin B as the active ingredient. Amphotericin B is prescribed for the treatment of serious fungal infections. This medicine works by

slowing down the growth of fungus. Anolip Injection is to be administered by a doctor or nurse in a clinical setting only. The doses and duration are determined by the doctor after accessing your condition. Inform your doctor about your complete medical history before initiating the treatment.

Introduction:

Futicin 50mg Injection is an antifungal medication containing the active constituent amphotericin B intercalated into the liposomal membrane. It is used to treat serious infections caused by fungi. It is used to treat mucormycosis or black fungus, especially among patients who are recovering or have recovered from covid-19. Talk to your doctor if you have diabetes, kidney disorders, or allergic conditions before taking this medicine. It is essential to tell your healthcare provider about all the medicines you are taking recently, including supplements and herbal medicines. Futicin 50mg Injection is not recommended in babies under one month old. Report to your doctor if you experience any allergic reactions while taking this medicine.

• Visceral leishmaniasis (caused by protozoan parasite; characterized by fever, weight loss, enlargement of spleen and liver, and anemia)
• Fungal infection in patients with neutropenia (low number of white blood cells) and high temperature
• Fungal infections of one or more deep organs of the body
• Mucormycosis or black fungus (characterized by blurred vision, black lesions over nose or upper inside of mouth, breathing difficulties, chest pain and coughing of blood)

How Futicin 50mg Injection works:

Futicin 50mg Injection binds to the sterol component of the fungal cell membrane, disrupts the membrane integrity and prevents the growth of fungi.
