Paddy or Rice (after milling) is a cereal grain, which is the most widely consumed staple food for a large part of the world’s human population, especially in Asia. Before the 18th century, cultivation of sugar cane was largely confined to India. Currently India is the 2nd largest producer of Sugarcane in the world.
