A Brief on Dharti Industries:
In Indian languages, the word 'Dharti' means the earth. An apt name, because we provide you what the earth provides.
Our visionary patriarch Dhirajlal Vithlani laid the foundation of Dharti Industries way back in 1993. We originally started as a family business firm (Odhavji Kalidas & Sons) to deal in the supply of spices, oilseeds, pulses and whole grains. However, our founders had the larger interest in reaching the international markets.
This aim of supplying products to the growing international demand got realized when the young blood of the family, Jasmine Vithlani joined the business with fresh ideas and vision. He formed a dynamic team of experts and advisors, who in turn trained other staff in the finer aspects and techniques of the business. Soon the firm was renamed 'Dharti Industries'.
Today, Dharti Industries is the name to reckon with in both local and international markets. We are now a leading processor and exporter of natural and hulled sesame seeds as well as spice seeds like coriander, cumin, fenugreek and mustard.
We are located in Rajkot, the heart of prime oilseeds producing area of Gujarat State. In recent past, Rajkot has developed as trading hub of agricultural produce in Gujarat. In addition, it is nearer to major cargo handling ports of India such as Kandla, Mundra and Pipavav.
The Ministry of Commerce and Industries, Government of India, has accorded the status of ?Export House? to Dharti Industries. We are the member of many trade associations and agencies, including some of the prominent and prestigious names as follows:
