Long-Acting G-CSF
Pegfilgrastim is a long-acting form of filgrastim, used to stimulate white blood cell (neutrophil) production and reduce the risk of infection during chemotherapy.

Single-Dose Per Cycle
Unlike daily filgrastim, pegfilgrastim is given as a single subcutaneous injection per chemotherapy cycle, usually 24 hours after chemotherapy ends.
