Dropex Water Proofer - Service Provider of injection grouting work, guniting work. & structural repairs services since 1996 in Mumbai, Maharashtra.
Providing nipples, sockets and cement slurry pump to injecting & grouting cement slurry added with expandable additive at voids in window junctions, brick work joints and all other weak spots to thoroughly ensure complete filling and closing voids etc.
The nipple minimum distance 1 metre.
Providing Guniting in (C:S) Mortar 1:3:5 to all external and internal RCC members with well graded sand at a eves and faces in true line and levels in specified thickness up to 40mm thick including all equipments etc. complete with breaking, curing. P/Fixing of 4” x 4” 10 gauge G.I. weld mesh etc. complete. (Rate also includes for applying RUSTICIDE SS to remove the rust of reinforcement & passivating coat of POLYALK FP) to RCC members (Maintain line level of the corners of Columns/RCC structure at 90 degrees into level of the bldg. with the help of wooden batton patti) Our water proofing compound ‘DROPEX’ shall be added.
Providing and laying external polymer modified cement mortar for damaged R.C.C. members, upto the original level using POLYALK EP or its equivalent with the procedure given below:
a) Remove all the loose concrete / cover completely and clean the reinforcement with a wire brush.
b) Apply RUSTICIDE SS or equivalent by means of cotton waste swab to the exposed corroded reinforcement and new reinforcement.
c) After 24 hours apply a passivating coat of OLYALK FP or equivalent and cement slurry in 1:1 proportion to the chemically de-rusted surface of steel.
d) Apply priming cum bonding coat of POLYALK EP or equivalent and cement slurry in 1:1 to the concrete by brush.
e) Immediately (wet on wet) place Polymer Modified Mortar by hand on the above primed surface.

15 Kgs. Quartz Sand.
Note: If the broken concrete thickness is more than 20mm, apply in layers of polymer modified mortar as per the procedures above till to achieve the proper desired size.
Curing is best achieved by a fine spray of water. Curing should being after 48 hours of application & continue for 3 days.
Double coat sand face plaster on entire external surface including R.C.C. members using river sand of required thickness in line and level including making ‘dhar’ / edges, drip moulds and patta at the junction of chhjjas and beam wherever required.
First coat shall be of 12 to 15mm thick in C:S 1:4 & shall be cured for the least 3 days. Final Coat shall be of 10 to 12 mm thick in C:S 1:3 and to be finished smooth. Finished surface shall be dabba punch to get granular surface. Finished surface so obtained shall be cured for 7 days.
Our Water proofing compound DROPEX shall be added for both the coats.
The treatment system starts over the leveling course of about 150 mm (6 inch) in thick plain cement concrete (PCC) laid even with smooth surface finished with wooden trowel by the owners on well compacted soil or rubble packing, as the case may be, in accordance with the strata. We provide our ‘DROPEX’ waterproof layer on the PCC. This surface is then superimposed by the owners with RCC raft slab designed to withstand the uplift pressure of the subsoil water. After completion of the raft slab and side walls, the said ‘DROPEX’ waterproof layer is continued along with the outer surface of the walls upto 300 mm (1 ft.) above the ground or other adjoint approx. level. The average thickness of this treatment is about 75 mm (3 inch) the floor and 3.0 (1 ¼ inch) on the walls.
The excavation of the sides around the walls is then filled in with soft earth by the owners. By this method, the entire structure is en cashed by our treatment to turn into a seal type box and the attacking subsoil water does not find any across into it.
The terrace waterproof brickbat cob a is directly laid over the RCC slab to provide the necessary gradient of 1 in 1.0’ for easy flow away of rain water. Then the brick bat coba is covered with ‘DROPEX’ joint less waterproof of plaster finished smooth with trowel in cement colour marked into 300 mm (1 ft) false squares. This treatment is carried in growth inner side of parapet and/or other adjoining wall up to height of about 300 mm (1 ft) In the shape of a round vata. The average thickness of the treatment is abut 106 mm(4 ½ inch) with a minimum thickness of water outlets being 75 mm (3 inches)
After the plumbing work is completed and the normal plaster to the outer surface is provided by the owners through the main contractor, the treatment starts with giving injections of our DROPEX water proof compound mixed with cement slurry, into the structure as and where found necessary by us. Thus inherent holes, cavities, voids and honeycombs are filled up, making the structure consistent and homogenous and resistant to water leakage and seepage. Therefore, our DROPEX waterproof layer, finished smooth with trowel cement, is laid on the floor and continued on the side and partition walls up to their full height.
The main contractor shall first provide 4 inch thick – 18 inch height brick masonary on the slab floor, above which we shall provide 24 gauge aluminum sheet with a groove in the centre and overlapping on one side the other side shall be up to the edge brick masonary. The groove shall be filled with plain paper. The same paper; shall be pasted with cement past on the top of Aluminum sheet above which over average 110 mm brickbat will be laid after filling the joints of brick-bat in C.S. Mortar. We shall fix wire-mesh on it and finally the top will be finished in smooth cement colour with overlapping on both sides of brick masonary. Expansion joints can also be treated by filling the gap with polysulphate sealant.
The full length of the column to be treated will be removed of cover, steel exposed uniformly. While removal of cover care is to be ensured that core of the column is not distributed, exposed steel is to be cleaned, rust removed with wire brush or & Rustoline the steel surface is to be evenly coated with polymer mortar treatment and grouting completed. Proper surface is to be prepared by removing all unevenness that may have crept into due to cover removal using mortar 1:5. Steel reinforcement is to be mixed after proper binding, bending etc. as specified by the C.E. Proper firm work/shuttering is to be provided all around the column so as to provide a RCC jacket. The jacket so provided will be 75 mm thick over the theoretical size of column treated. The jacket is to be formed using M20 concrete, cast in situ, hand mixed. The entire length of the column is to be cast at one time and no horizontal construction joints will be allowed. All form work / shuttering is to be removed. The jacketed length is to be curing. All dismantled portions of walls restored to original size and shape. All props removed and load re transferred complete including any incidental work required.
First of all breaking the existing coba / floor dado / waterproof plaster etc. and Lowering and carting away debris from the site. After breaking surface of R.C.C slabs as exposed will be cleaned and an average ½ “ thick waterproofing plaster in C.M. 1:4 with our ‘DROPEX’ waterproofing chemical will be carried out.
NOTE: Injection grouting will be surface of R.C.C. slabs and beam If required as per conditions we will grout it with our DROPEX waterproofing chemical minimum distance of 1 meter
