Ducon Consultants Pvt. Ltd. was established by Mr. Devendra C. Shah as a process of development and expansion from the proprietary firm named, Ducon Consulting Engineers which was incepted in 1988. We are a well established and a well reputed company practicing for almost three decades in the field of structural design, industrial planning and project management with over 1300 projects behind us.
Over the years, Ducon has worked on the design of many facilities which include hospitals, recreation centers, educational campuses, public assembly buildings/spaces, malls, commercial & residential multi-storied structures, stadiums, banquets, hotels, clubs, multiplex, townships, religious & institutional campuses as well as over 350 Industrial structures. As a Design Consultancy firm, we have rendered our services to some of the foremost urban spaces and systems in Gujarat and all over India. The breadth and amount of our work earmark our goal to give the best. At Ducon we ensure diversity in our projects that our clients entrust upon us. Whether the focus is on designing new buildings or dealing with issues related to existing buildings, we take up challenging projects and assist our clients in developing the best solutions incorporating the best practices which comply to all statutory, local as well as international codal provisions, adequate detailing, cost effectiveness while maintaining the schedule for deliverables.
Ducon has also endeavored to bring in innovation in its projects. To empower these work standards, we have setup state-of-the-art infrastructure. Internationally acclaimed and accepted softwares like STRAP, ETABS, SAFE, RCDC, AutoCAD and STRUDS form the main core of our design and drafting departments.

Mr. D. C. Shah Founder & Managing Director B.E. (civil)
Mr. Devendra Shah is the founder & Managing Director of Ducon Consultants Pvt. Ltd. As the technical visionary of the company, his experience spans over 31 years in business and covers all aspects of structural design, industrial planning and construction engineering. He is experienced in the design of a wide variety of building types including retail centers, office buildings, schools, hospitals, university campuses, residential housing, high rise buildings and renovation and retrofitting of structures. His experience also includes design and master planning of more than 350 Industrial campuses. Due to his large portfolio of works in the planning and design of heavily serviced industrial units, he has also developed keen sense of mechanical, electrical and plumbing services. He has thorough understanding of construction economy and its application. His expertise lies in developing innovative, sound structural systems which appeal to the architectural aesthetics. Some of his signature structural engineering and industrial planning projects include Restoration of Ahhichatragarh, the fort of Nagaur, the Celebration mall, Safal Profitaire, Pariseema, Kloeckner Desma, Mamata Hydco, Kirlosker Brothers Pvt. Ltd.
He is a fellow member of 'Indian Association of Structural Engineers', 'Association of Consulting Civil Engineers' and member of 'Indian Concrete Institute', 'The Gujarat Institute of Civil Engineers and Architects', 'Institute for Steel Development & Growth', 'Institution of Engineers (India)'. He is also a registered Valuer with Institution of Valuers (India).

Since joining the company, Mr. Utsav Shah has designed a wide range of structures from concept to the final execution including coordination with the client/architect and other service consultants. He has extensive experience in the structural engineering of wide variety of building types, from long-span sports and entertainment arenas and stadiums to high rise commercial and mixed used buildings, in both RCC and steel. He has rich experience in the renovation, rehabilitation, seismic retrofitting of structures, in the application of state-of-art engineering technologies and tools for building analysis, structural systems and optimization.
He is a registered LEED-AP and a member of USGBC & IGBC. He is also a member of ‘The Institute of Engineers (India)’, ‘Indian Association of Structural Engineers’, ‘Institute of Steel Development & Growth’, ‘Association of Consulting Engineers’.
