Bag Filter or Bag House is a fabric filter that is used to control emissions coming out from various commercial processes. Steel, Cement, Sponge Iron, Ferro Alloys, Power Plants, Chemical Industries, Pharmaceutical Industries, Food Manufacturers and other Industrial Companies often use Bag Houses to control air pollution. Unlike Electrostatic Precipitators, where performance may vary significantly depending on processes and electrical conditions, functioning Bag Houses can be designed to have a particulate collection efficiency of 99% or better, even when the particulate size is small.
