Since 1997, we trained thousands of engineering students in the areas of Electronics, Communication and Electrical. Often we had the right manpower but no training material. Another time we did not have the hardware that went into building projects. We spent all the time sourcing material for the projects and trying to retain manpower. All the while coming back empty handed and feeling frustrated.
There was no easy to use solution for the students in the engineering domain to build projects that would fulfill their academic requirement and bridge the knowledge gap between academics and industry. Lack of core sector companies in the areas of electronics and electrical further added to the challenge.
We tried looking for project kits online and were again unsuccessful. Although there were a few stores selling project kits online, what was interesting to us was that there was no major, technically sound online web company that specialized in projects. So, since 1997 with all our experience, to fill the existing requirement we started developing project solutions and come November 2012 decided to start an online store for project solutions and Edgefx Technologies Pvt. Ltd. was born!
By the end of the first year, our customer base skyrocketed at a rate that surpassed even the most optimistic expectations. Edgefx had grown to the point where an entire team of programmers, designers, and support engineers were hired, that are now helping the company pursue its dream. Today Edgefx has clients in 20 countries.
The company has grown to have a very strong focus on customer service, quality and morale of the staff and most of all, a passion for what we do. And although we're a team of almost 30 right now, nothing about us is corporate. We don't have multiple tiers of hierarchy. The vast majority of our employees work on the front lines, taking care of our customers or shipping items out of the Edgefx Fulfillment Centers.
Edgefx currently stocks more than 10 categories and 300 projects. Edgefx offers the absolute best selection of projects available anywhere, but much more important to us is that we offer the absolute best service.
