MARINE TECHNOLOGY Marine technology is the application of science and engineering knowledge, tools and techniques to the understanding and use of marine environment. The course is designed in view of a lot of job opportunities in India and abroad at ships, shipyards and establishments etc. who have adequate knowledge in repair and maintenance of ships. OIL GAS TECHNOLOGY Oil and gas industry is one of the richest industries and is amongst the core industries in India. It plays a vital role in influencing decisions across other important spheres of the economy. India has been among the world’s fastest growing economics and with growing economy comes an increasing demand for energy. If current trends continue, India will be the world’s third largest energy consumer by 2020. This course provides the candidates with an in depth knowledge both theoretically and practically starting from the upstream level to the downstream level which equips them with a greater understanding the various processes involve in the oil and gas sector. PIPING DESIGN & ENGINEERING Piping design engineering plays a vital role in plant design and its construction. The pipeline training progression provides technical training and consulting for oil and gas transportation, focusing on pipeline systems as well as onshore infrastructure systems that support oil and gas operations. Piping is an excellent career for everyone..........piping is almost 99% technical job, you need have good IQ, imagination, knowledge and willingness to learn to become a successful piping engineer. FIRE AND INDUSTRIAL SAFETY Fire and industrial safety is the science and art of identifying evaluating controlling workplace hazards. Thus industrial safety is playing a vital role to avoid such accidents and payment for compensation. Industrial safety career options are: safety officer, safety supervisor, safety warden, safety instructor, safety in charge, HSE officer, safety engineer etc. Employment scopes in this field are too many not only in India but also outside the country. After getting a safety certificate, students can find employment in the following sectors: Oil refineries, Chemical plants, Pharmaceuticals Industries, textiles, petrochemicals etc.
