  • This professional radioactivity survey meter is a precise instrument to measure Alpha, Beta Gamma and X Ray radioactivity. The radioactivity meter has a wide measuring range of 0.01µSv/hr to 1000 µSv/hr while it can read up to 2000 µSv/hr and can be used for diverse fields like radiation checking in scrapyards, foundries, steel plants, NDT Testing laboratories, X ray and Cancer wards in Hospitals, Laboratories, freight containers etc. as well as for sporadic measurements in situ, long-lasting measurements or for controls.
  • The radioactivity meter provides a certified measurement of the environmental radiation.

  • This radioactivity meter has diverse applications. This Geiger meter is usually used in nuclear power stations. It is most commonly used in the control of imported goods & export of goods, as well as to measure food which has been previously irradiated. This radioactivity meter can also be used to measure natural radioactive radiation such as the radiation which appears near the sea. It fulfils all the requirements when controlling building materials, Raw Material in foundries.

  • There are four versions of this measuring instrument available: the standard version (GS1 model) without ticker sound for radiation measurement and works on battery, Alert/Ticker version with standard battery (GS2 MODEL), (GS3 model) which has ticker sound for radiation measurement and works on rechargeable battery and real time measurement ON LINE (GS4 model) which operates through a PC.

  • Radiation values can be recorded in the radioactivity meter memory or they can be transferred to a computer by means of a device included in the delivery (software and RS 232 data cable).

The STS Survey-Safe simulator is a simulated radiation survey meter designed to aid the training of workers in the nuclear industry in safe practices and in understanding the nature and mechanics of ionising radiation . 
The instrument operates using an STS radio frequency detection head which detects the presence of a simulated radiation field with the resultant reading displayed on the LCD Display of the instrument.

The Survey-Safe simulated survey meter features a 65 x 35mm LCD backlit display with easy to operate gloved use buttons for selecting functions and instrument on/off.

The menu allows users to set various parameters for the instrument including alarm threshold, dose and dose rate display, reading units (ySv or mR) and Audio options.

The Survey-Safe uses theSafe-MiniSource as the field generator and will measure the simulated dose according to the proximity and shielding between the dosimeter and source. The rate of accumulation is determined by the activity level set in the source. Different sources are available to characterise different isotopes and therefore produce a different response from the instrument in terms of dose at a given range.

The Survey-Safe runs off 2 standard AA cells giving an operation time of over 10hrs.
