elecon have manufactured and supplied 8. 5e 10 mill gear box for coal grinding in power plants. This have been developed against the existing imported unit for easy replacement without disturbing position of motor and coal mill.

this is a two stage gear box having input shaft horizontal and output shaft (having the flange coupling) vertically upward. The 1st stage is of bevel gearing and 2nd stages is of helical gearing.

elecon slewing gear units of planetary as well as bevel-helical type (conventional) are available in various sizes ranging from 1. 5 kw and reduction ratio ranging from 400 to 1000.

these gear units are especially designed for the slewing mechanism of the stacker-reclaimer machines.

the planetary gear units normally have four-stage reductions out of which the first stage is designed as helical or bevel pair, and the remaining stages according to planetary gear systems.

the conventional gear unit consists of five to six reduction stages comprising bevel and helical gear pairs.

the sun and planet gears are case-hardened and ground to quality 6 as per din 3961/63. The annulus is made up of high tensile alloy steel, heat treated or nitrated depending upon power requirement. The spiral bevel gears in case of conventional gear units are case-hardened and lapped in pair so as to ensure optimum tooth contact pattern during assembly. The casing is of welded construction mainly in three parts in case of planetary gear unit and in two parts in case of conventional gear unit. The bearing bores are machined with high degree of accuracy on cnc machines.

Elecon make Geared coupling with standard design are available in Design 1, Design 2, Design 3 and Design 4 wherein distance shaft ends can be accommodated up to N4 dimension i.e. from 43 mm to 408 mm depending on size of the coupling.

For the distance between shaft ends exceeding beyond N4 limit, Elecon make ET type of geared couplings are used to connect the driving and driven equipment. This type is provided with appropriate torsion shaft to accommodate required distance between shaft ends.

ET type geared coupling are widely used in Cement industries, Steel Industries, Pump Industries and Mining/Power stations. The Shaft is manufactured from Seamless Carbon Steel Pipe on precise machinery to maintain the design tolerances. This shaft is designed considering moment of Inertia, Deflection and Critical speed with appropriate safety factor.

Elecon has supplied these type of units up to 75000 size and up to 7500mm length.

The sizes supplied are covering continuous rating up to 115.19 kW/rpm.

double roll crusher is for crushing of coal, coke, cinter, moderately hard rock, ore, chalk, etc. Single roll crushers also available for crushing above material as primary crusher.
