A grand launch in December 2005 at India Habitat Centre geared Enigma Art?s ambitious journey into the Indian Art escapade. A warm opening by fashion honcho Manish Malhotra marked the beginning of the Gallery. It showcased works of not only revered Masters like Tyeb Mehta, KG Subramanyam and Bhupen Khakhar but also made encouraging space for young talents like Dinesh Kumar Ram, Mekhla Harrison, Sangeeta Murty, Sanju Jain in the show. Sanju Jain has been the winner of the prestigious Raza Award for 2 consecutive years and participated in exhibitions in Paris organized by Raza. Enigma Art is centrally located in New Delhi in the close vicinity of Connaught Place, situated on the main Asaf Ali Road. Enigma Art participated in an Art Fair in 2006 at Travancore Art Gallery followed by exhibiting eminent Indian names at the Singapore Art Fair in 2007. Transgressing to showcase international artist on the Indian platform, Enigma Art organized a solo exhibition of cut-edge Spanish artist Miguel Olivares in 2007. In collaboration with a Delhi-based Art Gallery Latitude 28, Enigma Art presented ?Resonating Pulse? with a strong new collection predominantly focused on Contemporary Art shown at the Alliance-Franchise, Lodhi Road in May 2009. This unique show curated by Bhavna Kakar represented a diversified collation of exemplary works by George Martin, Chittrovanu Mazumdar, Apurba Nandi, Ajay Dhandre, Bose Krishnamachari, K.Prasun Roy, Sovan Kumar, Sonia Mehra Chawla and Avishek Sen. Besides, Enigma Art in its diverse range of exhibitions has featured an assortment of artists like Arup Das, Prabhakar Kolte, Paritosh Sen, Neeraj Goswami, Mousami Biswas, Saptarishi Naskar, Manisha Doshi, Farhad Hussain, Prashanta Kalita, Dheeraj Chaudhury, Alok Bal along with others. The gallery also provides a convenient access to the range and detailed information about the artists it chooses to exhibit as well as provides a certificate of authentication signed by the artist with every bought work.
