Essar's logistics business provides end-to-end logistics services – from ships to ports, lighterage services to plants, intra-plant logistics and dispatching finished products to the final customer. We own transshipment assets to provide lighterage support services, and onshore and offshore logistics services. We also manage a fleet of 5,000 trucks for the inland transportation of steel and petroleum products.   The sea transportation business has a diversified fleet of 14 vessels including VLCCs, capes,mini-capes bulk, Panamax, Supramaxes, and handy-sizes to provide crude oil and bulk commodity transportation services. We have more than 220 ship years serving leading Indian and global oil majors and commodity traders and a combined tonnage of over 1.6 million. We currently have an order book of 4 new building vessels.   Essar Shipping, through its subsidiaries Essar Oilfields Services Ltd (EOSL) and Essar Oilfield Services (India) Ltd. (EOSIL), provides quality onshore and offshore drilling services and related services to international clients. Own a fleet of 16 rigs, which includes one semi-submersible rig and 15 onshore rigs.   Our integrated business model provides opportunities to cater to the complete supply chain management services to clients in oil and gas, steel, and power generation industries, and focuses on the intrinsic and captive demand for transportation services, logistics and cargo handling infrastructure. With interests in crude and dry bulk carriers, port-to-plant logistics and oilfield services, the company continues to provide end-to-end logistics solutions to its customers in a very cost-effective manner.

Iron ore beneficiation
We have an 8 MTPA plant at Bailadilla (Chhattisgarh) and a 12 MTPA plant at Dabuna (Odisha), both strategically established to leverage the rich iron ore deposits of the respective states. The plants pump the iron ore slurry to Essar Steel pellet plants at Visakhapatnam (Andhra Pradesh; 267 km pipeline) and Paradip (Odisha; 253 km pipeline) respectively.

Pelletization
We have an 8 MTPA pelletization plant at Visakhapatnam and a 6 MTPA pellet plant at Paradip, both of which provide vital raw material to our steel plant at Hazira (Gujarat).

Iron and steel
We have a fully integrated world-class facility at Hazira, housing the world's fourth largest single-location steel plant. It has a steel-making capacity of 10 MTPA, holds ISO: 9001:2000, IS 9002 and TUV, and ISO 140001 certification and is India Chiller Energy Efficiency Project (ICEEP) Protocol compliant.
