PAEDIATRIC OR CHILD CARE Children's eye health is often the most neglected one in our society. Children's eye care should be given at most care because a child does not know as to how much he should see, secondly if one eye is normal compared to the other eye then child usually manages with one eye and never complaints. But these common problems can be easily picked up during routine examination by your optometrist who checks each eye individually and the child can be ensured equal and good vision in both eyes.

All children attending kindergarten must be checked at admission. If the child is normal he should be followed once in every 2 years and if the child is found to have some form of error in his eye then he need to be followed at least once a year or as directed by your optometrist. Kids who wear glasses must be evaluated every year.
