Fordclav DDS Dry Syrup belongs to a group of antibiotics known as penicillin antibiotics. It is generally prescribed to prevent middle ear and sinus infections, throat or lung respiratory tract infections, urinary tract infections, skin infections, soft tissue infections, dental infections, and joint and bone infections.

Fordclav DDS Duo Dry Syrup consists of two medicines: Amoxycillin and Clavulanic acid. Amoxycillin acts by destroying the outer protein layer, thereby killing the bacteria (bactericidal action). Clavulanic acid inhibits the enzyme beta-lactamase, which prevents bacteria from destroying the efficacy of amoxycillin. As a result, the action of Clavulanic acid allows Amoxycillin to work better and kill the bacteria. Fordclav Duo Dry Syrup does not work against infections caused by viruses, including colds and flu.

Cififord O belongs to a group of medications called 'cephalosporin antibiotics' primarily used for the treatment of a wide range of bacterial infections of the skin, ears, lungs, prostate and urinary tract. Besides this, it also treats typhoid fever and STDs (sexually transmitted diseases) like chlamydia and gonorrhoea. A bacterial infection happens when harmful bacteria enter inside the body and start multiplying. These harmful bacteria are responsible for producing toxins that can cause diseases like strep throat, urinary tract infection (UTI), bacterial food poisoning, gonorrhoea, bacterial meningitis, cellulitis, Lyme disease, and tetanus. Cififord O does not work against viral infections like flu and colds.

Cififord O contains 'Cefixime' (cephalosporin antibiotic) and 'Ofloxacin' (fluoroquinolone antibiotic) that works by preventing the formation of the outer covering of the bacteria (cell wall) required for their survival. CEFIXIME+OFLOXACIN prevents the release of a chemical messenger (mucopeptides) by the bacteria, thereby weakening and destroying the bacterial cell wall. CEFIXIME+OFLOXACIN is a broad range antibiotic that works against a wide range of both gram-positive and gram-negative bacteria.

• Sucrofair O belongs to a group of medicine called 'ulcer protectants' primarily used to treat peptic ulcers or gastrointestinal ulcers. It also treats hyperacidity, heartburn, indigestion, and gastritis (inflammation of the stomach). The stomach is usually protected from acid by a mucous layer. In some cases, due to excess acid production, the mucous layer gets eroded, which leads to complications like acidity and heartburn.
• Sucralfate is a gastrointestinal protectant that works by forming a protective barrier or coat over the ulcer so that digestive enzymes, acid and bile salts cannot further irritate the lining. This protects the ulcer from the acid of the stomach, allowing it to heal. While, Oxetacaine is a local anaesthetic that exerts a numbing effect, thereby providing relief from pain due to ulcers or acidic injury in the stomach.

Podfair 100 belongs to the group of cephalosporin antibiotics used to treat a wide range of bacterial infections of the ear, nose, throat, lower respiratory tract, urinary tract, skin, and soft tissue. Bacterial infections are caused due to the multiplication of harmful bacteria inside or on the body. It does not work against infections caused by the virus, including cold and flu.

Pofair 100 contains 'Cefpodoxime', which is a broad-spectrum antibiotic effective against both gram-positive and gram-negative bacteria. CEFPODOXIME works by preventing the formation of bacterial cell covering (cell wall), which is necessary for their survival. Thereby, CEFPODOXIME kills the bacteria and helps in treating and preventing the spread of bacterial infections.

CifiFord 100 Contains CEFIXIME which belongs to a group of cephalosporin antibiotics. It is used to treat susceptible organisms (bacteria)-caused infections of the ear, nose, sinuses (sinusitis), throat (tonsillitis, pharyngitis), chest and lungs (bronchitis, pneumonia) and urinary system (cystitis and kidney infections). Additionally, it is also prescribed to treat uncomplicated gonorrhoea (cervical/urethral). 

Cififord 100 contains Cefixime that works by inhibiting of cell wall synthesis. In turn, CEFIXIME weakens and destroys the bacterial cell wall, leading to death. As a result, CEFIXIME helps to treat bacterial infections.
