matLIMS is web based solution meant for Material testing laboratories where various types of tests are conducted as per IS, ASTM, BS and other global standards. matLIMS is designed keeping CRM aspect in mind. It also acts as test sample data management system. It is fully configurable for managing data of various types of tests.

matLIMS Test Data Management - ASTM (E 1578- 93) based:

Hundreds of test samples are tested on daily basis in a test laboratory. Keeping track of all these samples and managing the report generation and report delivery without any error is challenging task.To assist this management we have built this matLIMS system that will take care of all test data and reporting.

Test Standard and Test Configuration:

Numerous standards are there for testing the material. So, this matLIMS gives facility to build the standard with the help of Specification and Grade definition. As soon as the standard is defined, the same is possible to be used in test data management by the testing personnel. It is very easy and user friendly to add new standards.Along with test standard definition, test types also need to be configured with test parameters. These test parameters have their own R/Vs (Required Values) for compliance against the standard. This is key area of matLIMS and we have taken utmost care of the same.

Information Workflow Management:

Due to shear number of samples coming in the laboratory, it is very important to track each of those. So, our matLIMS also maintains the complete workflow of each of the sample along with its responsible owner. At no point of time, no sample is without any ownership. One can know the status of every sample at any given time.Complete workflow right from sample receipt to testing personnel assignment to report release and archival is tracked and logged in the system.

matLIMS as CRM:

Customer data is maintained along with their test sample data. So, matLIMS also acts as CRM to know the status of every sample of every customer. With the help of reporting module, repeat customers or region wise customers can be identified and analysis can be used to build good Customer Relationship.

Analysis and Reporting:

Once all the data is available in the matLIMS system, various reports can be generated.First of all test certificates can be generated automatically and printed for each sample once released without any extra data entry.

Reports based on customer data, test type data, test standards, testing personnel, test date, etc. can be generated out of matLIMS. These reports provide good insight to the management about testing throughput, customer revisit percentage and many more parameters.

User Management:

matLIMS being web based system, it supports multi-user access from anywhere in network. Roles are defined to take care of the assigned activities and information management.
