How To Apply:

• Surface Preparation
  All surfaces should be between 40o F(4oC) and 90oF (32oC) and structurally sound, clean and free of all dirt, oil, grease, loose peeling paint, concrete sealers or curing compounds. Dry, dusty concrete walls or masonry should be dampened and excess water swept off. Installation may be made on a damp surface. All walls must be plumb and true to within ¼”(6mm) in 10 ft(3m). Expansion joints shall be provided through the tile work from all construction or expansion joints in the substrate. Follow ANSI Specification AN-3.8 “Requirements for Expansion Joints” or  Detail EJ171 “Expansion Joints”. Do not cover expansion joints with mortar. Glass Mesh Mortar Unit: follow  installation detail W244, in temperatures over 95°F (35°C). Priming for Concrete walls: (If not roughened by hacking)
  Mix LATASCREED 100 with 50% water by weight and make lump free slurry. Apply an even thickness of the slurry
  to the cleaned substrate using a brush or roller to ensure the primer is absorbed into the substrate. Each 25 kg bag of
  Latascreed 100 will cover 25 Sq. Mtrs. approximately.
  

  Application of POWER PLAST
  While the slurry bond coat is in wet and tacky condition, place the plaster prepared by mixing POWER PLAST with water. Spread the plaster material on wall surface and make the surface even taking enough care to check the required levels of walls and compact well. For hacked concrete surfaces, initially one rough plaster coat would help in building up thicknesses well.
  

  Tiling by Thin set Adhesive Method:
  Leave the compacted and finished plaster for a period of 14 days for air curing and install tiles using a suitable thin set adhesive. Grouting of tile joints can commence after 48 hours from the completion of tiling.

How to Apply:

• Substrate –

  The Wall Surface to be applied with Wall Putty should be Smooth Cement Plaster (Cement: Sand preferably in the ratio of 1:6  )  Surface free from Structural Crack &  having been cured for 28 days.. The surface should be free from dirt, oil, grease and  other loosely adhered foreign materials. 

  Surface Preparation – 

  • The Cement Plaster Surface should be cured for 28 days to achieve proper strength before application of Wall Putty.
  • The Surface should not have any Structural cracks. Any Non Structural Cracks to be treated first with appropriated crack filler before applying putty. 
  • Ensure the surface  is cleaned  from all the dust , grease & loose materials with the help of emery stone / putty blade/ wire brushtogether with clean water.
  • Pre wet the surface before applying Wall Putty. 

  IMPORTANT TO ENSURE THAT CEMENT PLASTER SURFACE SHOULD BE PRE WET TO SUCH AN EXTENT THAT IT SHOULD  NOT ABSORB WATER FROM PUTTY COAT . 

  Mixing- 

  Mix LataFinish Wall Putty with around 35% of clean/potable water to make a paste of workable consistency . The mixing has to be done till a uniform paste is prepared. Once the paste is prepared it is left for 5 to 10 minutes before application to ensure complete reactions of admixtures present in putty.  Mix only that much quantity of putty paste which can be used in 2  hours time.

  Application –

  • Clean & Pre wet the plaster surface before applying Lata Finsh Putty.
  •  Make a Lata finish Putty paste which can be used in 2 hours time.
  • Apply the first coat of putty on pre wet surface from bottom to upward direction with putty blade.
  • After drying of first coat of putty clean the surface  with smooth dry cloth followed by wet cloth.
  • Apply second coat of putty  after about 3.0 hrs of first coat.
  • Allow the surface to dry for minimum 12 hours.
  • The Putty to be applied in two coats at a maximum thickness of 1.5 mm.
  • Before paint application clean the putty surface for all the loosely adhered material and use very fine water resistant  emery paper ( preferably more than 500 Nos)  only if there are marks of putty blade on the surface.
  • During application of putty the surface should be protected from direct sunlight  till the  two coats of putty are dried.

  Surface Preparation:

  Application:

  1)    Apply MaxiSeal uniformly over the surface till it is damp using a clean white cloth or paint brush.

  2)    Leave the treated surface 4-5 minutes and remove excess product from the surface using clean white cloth. The cleaning should be done before the liquid dries on the surface.

  In case any dried residue is left on the surface, the same can be removed by reapplication of MaxiSeal and cleaning the excess immediately. Multiple applications may be required for some stones

  3)    Allow cure time of 24-72 hours (Air Cure) for sealers to become completely effective.

  Apply over the tile or stone a minimum of 12 hours before grouting.
