Purpose:

Three different grades of aluminum chloride solution (ACS) are offered by Gulbrandsen Technologies (GTI), depending on your treatment objectives.  ACS is typically used in both municipal and industrial water treatment.  Concentration of aluminum chloride (in solution) ranges from15% to 28%.

A series of in organic coagulants with varying ranges in three key categories:  Al203 concentration, degree of polymerization, and basicity.  In many treatment applications, PAC can work more efficiently than standard coagulants due to its unique charge neutralization properties.

Purpose:
PAC products of low basicity (less than 50%) are typically used in paper manufacturing. PAC products of medium to high basicity (higher than 50%) are used as coagulants in water and wastewater treatment.

Sulfated polyaluminum chloride is a polymerized aluminum compound containing both chloride and sulfate. Ranging in basicity from 50% to 70%, sulfated PACs perform successfully in cold raw water temperatures and allow for quick floc formation. Sulfated PACs can be used in both municipal and industrial water treatment applications, and also serve as a key raw material in industrial manufacturing applications.

Purpose:
Sulfated PAC is designed for use in applications in which pH stability is required or rapid floc formation is necessary. Sulfated PAC has also been proven to work effectively in colder raw water conditions.
