• The main ingredient of Kutajarishta is holarrhena anti dysenterica (kurchi or kutaj). For preparing Kutajarishta, following ingredients are used in the quantity provided

The general dosage of Kutajarishta is as follows:

• Khadirarishta uses an ancient ayurvedic fermentation technique to gain its anti-inflammatory, anti-parasitic and anti-oxidant properties. It is a very good tonic for the stomach, liver and blood. Khadirarishta can reduce ama by digesting and eliminating it from the body

Ingredients:

• Acacia Catechu,Cedrus Deodara, Psoralea Corylifolia, Berberis Aristata, Three Myrobalans, Honey, Piper Cubeba, Mesua Ferrea, Piper Longum, Cinnamomum Tamala

• Researchers have reported patients with Ischemic heart diseases benefited with bark extract from Terminalia arjuna
• Terminalia arjuna has similar favorable antioxidant effect as vitamin E when given
• Researchers found that the plant with its arjunic and terminic acids, glycosides and antioxidants, decreased the frequency of angina when given in doses of 500mg every 8 hrs. for 1 week. The dose also decreased the need per isosorbide dinitrate, an antianginal prescription medication. Arjunolic acid, an Arjuna triterpene and a potent part of the Arjuna bark, may also offer cardiac protection

Side effects:

• No known side effects, over dose may induce gastric irritation. Use this medicine under medical supervision.

Indukantham Kashyam Tablets:

• Indukantham kashayam is an Ayurvedic medicine in water decoction form. It is mainly used in treating fever and abdominal disorders. It is also known as Indukantam kashayam

Indukantham Kashayam benefits:

• It is used in the Ayurvedic treatment of fever
• It relieves abdominal bloating, gaseous distention
• It relieves abdominal pain, improves digestion.
• It is nourishing in nature, improves strength and immunity.

Indukantham kashayam dosage:

• 5 - 10 ml, before food, or on empty stomach, once or twice a day or as directed by Ayurvedic doctor.
• If the kashayam is concentrated, then it needs to be mixed with equal quantity of water and should be taken.
• Some companies such as AVN Ayurveda Formulations Pvt. Ltd manufacture this in tablet form called Indukantham Kashayam tablet.
• Dosage of such kashayam tablet is - 2 tablets 2 times a day before food or as directed by doctor.
• Indukantham syrup dose is quite similar to Kashayam dose.

Indukantham kashayam Side Effects:

• There are no recorded side effects of this product in the said dose.
• In very high dose, it may worsen gastritis.
