The flow sensor can measure the consumption of compressed air, nitrogen, oxygen, CO₂, argon or other non-corrosive gases. The measurement ball valve permits easy installation and removal with only a short interruption of the flow.
EE771 flow sensor employs the well proven E+E hot-film sensor element with high immunity to contamination, which leads to outstanding long-term stability and accuracy even under harsh operating conditions.
With wide measuring range from 0.5 to 200 Nm/s (100...39370 SFPM) (1:400) and fast response time, one and the same flow meter model can be employed throughout the entire gas supply system. It records accurately even the smallest flow which represent an essential prerequisite for calculating consumption costs or for finding leaks.
Every E+E flow sensor undergoes a precise factory calibration procedure at a pressure of 7 bar (102 psi), the corresponding calibration certificate is included in the standard scope of supply.
The EE771 flow sensor is available with an additional MODBUS RTU or M-BUS (Meter-Bus) interface.

The flow sensor can be used effectively to measure the consumption of compressed air, nitrogen, CO₂ or other non-corrosive gases.
The gauge mounting block allows for the installation and removal without flow interruption. Regular calibration, without taking into account the device downtime, is therefore always an option. Besides the mass flow probe, the gauge mounting block with hot tap valve can accomodate also a dew point and a pressure sensor.

Outstanding measuring accuracy, even in the lower measuring range, is achieved by an application-specific multi-point factory adjustment performed at 7 bar (102 psi). This allows reliable leak detection and corresponding energy savings. The construction of the EE741 flow meter is optimised for easy installation and maintenance.
Modular design
One and the same transmitter can be used for each of three pipe diameters:
- EE741: DN15 (1/2") / DN20 (3/4") / DN25 (1")
- EE741-N50: DN32 (1-1/4") / DN40 (1-1/2") / DN50 (2")
The pipe diameter is easily set via the display menu or the EE-PCS product configuration software.
Once the gauge mounting block is installed in the pipeline, the transmitter can be installed and removed without any pipework. As a result, the EE741 flow meter is also ideal for temporary measurement at several installed mounting blocks. The sealing plug included in the scope of supply enable the normal operation of the compressed air system when the transmitter is removed.
Display (optional)
The state-of-the-art LCD shows the current measured values and the overall consumption. The EE741 setup can be easily performed with the push buttons and intuitive menu guidance. The display can be rotated in 90° increments with a push button for convenient orientation in any mounting position of the flow meter.
