Product Description:-
- Dulux Promise Exterior Emulsion is a high quality, water based smooth emulsion paint. Its Chroma Brite-UV Fight Technology keeps the exterior wall colour brighter for longer, Anti Peel formulation ensures that the paint film remains intact and its Extra Coverage Formula covers a larger area in the same quantity of paint. Its unique Anti fungal formula resists formation of ugly black spots and fungal patches on your walls.
Application Description:-
- Step 1: Surface Preparation Ensure surface is thoroughly clean, dry and free from all loose dirt, chalk, grease, fungi, algae and flaking paint. Wet sanding should be used wherever possible. If exposure cannot be avoided by the provision of local exhaust ventilation, suitable respiratory protective equipment should be used. Step 2 : Application Process Apply one coat of Dulux Promise exterior Primer after thinning with water in the ratio of 1:1 by volume. Dilute 1 litre of Dulux Promise Exterior Acrylic Emulsion with a maximum of 700 ml of clean water. In case of dark colors dilute with maximum of 500ml of clean water. Step 3 : Drying Time Apply 2 coats of Dulux Promise Exterior Acrylic Emulsion with a gap of 4-6 hours between the coats. 3 coats may be required for darker colors. An additional coat should be applied in case of horizontal surfaces like the top of windows, ledges, Chajjas, parapet wall, etc.
Health and Safety:-
- No added Lead, Mercury and chromium compounds. Lead content in dried paint film does not exceed 90 parts per million. Treatments such as sanding, burning off etc of paint films may generate hazardous dust and other fumes. Refer Safety Data Sheet for more details.
Tips and Advice:-
- Preparing The Surfaces:- Ensure that the surface is clean, dry, free from all loose particles, dust, dirt, grease, wax, mould, fungal growth etc. before application
- Cleaning:- Clean all epquipment with clean water immediately after use

Application Description:-
- Step 1 : Surface Preparation Ensure Surface is dry & free from grime, dust & grease. Remove loose or flaking particles. Sand the surface by using Emery paper No. 180 & wipe clean. For pre-painted surface, where putty application is not expected, use Emery paper No. 320 & wipe clean. Step 2 : Application process Add up to 1 parts of White Spirit/ Mineral Turpentine Oil (MTO) to 10 parts of paint by volume. Step 3 : Drying time Touch dry is up to 1 hour and tack free dry is within 4-6 hours.
Health and Safety
- Treatments such as sanding, burning off etc. of ???lms may generate hazardous dust and/or fumes sanding/ ???atting should be used wherever possible. Work in well ventilated areas. Refer Safety Data Sheet for more details.
