Our Vendor Base

JMJ purchases its seafood directly from fishermen; self appointed agents and open auction markets along the east and west coast of India and exports the same to its customers across various destinations. This allows us to hand pick from the finest selection of seafood available anywhere in the country. Currently we sell to over 15 countries worldwide, while all of our seafood products are day caught, hook and line products from smaller fishing boats of not more than 20 mtrs in OAL (Overall Length)

 

JMJ Exports plans to expand its product offerings further across markets across the globe with its entire focus on value addition to the fresh Chilled seafood industry. In its expanded portfolio of offerings, JMJ will bring forward its commitment of quality, freshness and great prices to our customers.

Our Infrastructure

JMJ Exports is head officed at 36 D, North Parade Road, St. Thomas Mount, Chennai, Tamilnadu, India for all administrative purposes, while having its EU approved processing facility at Kanyakumari, the southern most tip of India and processes all its products to meet its export demands. We are now in the process of setting up a new facility at Kanyakumari on a 7.15 acre property with state of the art facilities for Chilled; secondary value addition & Retort processing and packaging. These facilities will have the most modern chill rooms; de-scaling and filleting machines; advanced vacuuming with gas flushings; Co treatment; treated ice & water - and most of all human & material dis-infecting systems in place in terms of sterilisation & Ozone in air & water. The focus of this facility will be in most advanced laboratory for testing of all of its in-house products being processed. All temperature controlled vehicles most modern like none other in India. In this facility we limit the human touch thus controlling contamination to its lowest.
