The department of Mechanical engineering was started in the year of 1997. In the DME the students are offered 4 semesters of theory, practicals.This is in addition to their industrial training and project work. The department is well equipped with autocad, ansys, proe; IDEAS & Nastron .

The department is well equipped with laboratories for workshop, FM & MM lab, Workshop I, Workshop II (Lathe), Workshop III (special machine), Thermodynamics lab, Metrology and mechanical testing lab, Automobile technology lab, and Cad/Cam lab. These laboratories are equipped with various machinery and equipments such as IC engine ,Compressor, Turbines, Pumps, Utm, Impact test, Hardness test, motors etc..

The department conducts regular lecture meetings addressed by eminent persons from industries to expose the students to practical problems. While industrial visit to many industries is a part of the curriculum, students take intensive industrial training during vacation and our department association "Auto Zone" is conducting a number of personality programmes, Industrial experts' seminars and workshops every year .

The project work under taken by students during their final year is always a special feature of the polytechnic. Most of the projects are chosen in consultation with the near by industries.Every year many reputed companies visit our college and select our students to recruit them in their companies.

The Department Organizes industry-institution interaction at regular intervals by bringing several dignitaries from various IT companies.These seminars highlight on the growth of Software industry and also concentrate on the subjects in which a student must groom himself before entering this dynamic revolution.

Further,the department encourages the students to undergo practical inplant training programs,for them to acquire the real time practical knowledge and experience for various applications in today's computer world.

established in 2003, the department of civil engineering is a premier center of developing young, innovative and intellectual constructors. It offers a diploma course comprising of 4 semesters. It is one of the laudable departments in the polytechnic with skilled staffs and innovative students. It has excellent infrastructural facilities to cater to the needs of the student community. We also have an association named "colosseum" in our department conducting various guest lectures, seminars and placement activities.

The department of Automobile engineering department was started in the year of 2005. In the DAE the students are offered 4 semesters of theory, practicals.This is in addition to their industrial training and project work. The department is well equipped with autocad, ansys, proe; IDEAS & Nastron .

The Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering,was started in year 1997 This department, flourishes in its Enthusiastic and Energetic Environment comprising 2 major fields Electrical & Electronics.

The syllabus framed by director of technical education is followed enhanced to comprehend the whole gamut of this fast changing field.

Keeping in mind the latest technology in this rapidly changing world, the department has updated, enhanced and reframed the syllabus. The department equips the students with advanced technology to cater to the requirements of industries.

Electronics is a branch of physics which deals with the movement of electrons. Nowadays , without communication no one can move in this world. Our department was started in the year 2003. It includes 6 semesters with practicals. It also includes industrial training and project work. Our department is succesfully running with industry institute collaboration by visiting the industries frequently. In the year 2006, we started the association named as " ELEZAP " . Through our association , we conduct guest lectures , mock interviews , group discussions by the eminent persons from the industries.
