Used for Rough & Fine Polishing of Specimens. The Specimen is held against a rotating Flat disk, on which a polishing cloth impregnated with suitable polishing media such as silicon carbide powder is stretched. Disc polishing gives the specimen scratch free mirror like nish. The disc consists of 20cm balance disc mounted on steel spindle.The spindle is located on heavy duty ball bearing. The disc is easily removable for quick changing of polishing cloth or paper, which is fastened on the disk by means of a spring or rubber gridle on the rim of disc.
