Microporous silica Board Low Cost | Low Thickness | High Insulation Microporous silica boards are manufactured by mixing high quality agglomerates of pyrogenic silica and selective grade opacifiers along with filaments and pressed at a very specific pressure range to achieve a very narrow range of optimum highest possible porosity and unique range of densities to deliver a product with lowest possible heat loss through conduction, convection, radiations, and gaseous conduction. The thermal conductivity of Microporous insulation is lower than the still air at high temperatures. Advantages

Product properties:
Resistance to Thermal Shock – Microporus silica Boards are resistant to thermal shock caused by both low and high temperatures.
Non-Combustibility – Microporus silica Boards are completely noncombustible per German standard DIN 4102 Class A1.
Wetting – Wetting agents such as water, liquid detergents, oil, petroleum, alcohol, etc. can have an adverse effect on Microporus Boards since these liquids can destroy the microporous structure of the product. This can be greatly reduced or eliminated by encapsulating Microporus Boards in a barrier material such as polyethylene or aluminum foil.
Storage – Microporus silica Boards can be stored indefinitely and should be handled and stored in liquid-free conditions. Moist air or steam does not adversely affect the stability of these Boards.

Our boards, blocks, pipe sections are made with calcium silicate and can be used to insulate high-temperature applications like ducts, boilers, steam pipe lines and furnaces among many others. Their high load-bearing capacity makes them ideal for heavy-duty equipment across industries. In addition, our blocks are literally maintenance-free and have a life of more than 20 years.

Lanexis insulation blocks and pipe coverings are made from hydrated calcium silicate, reinforced with non-asbestos fibres. It is a rigid material with high compressive strength and low shrinkage at high temperature. Also the material has very low thermal conductivity.
