Heron Lite satisfies the needs of fast indoor/outdoor 3D mapping. The point cloud model is fully compatible with static laser scanner data, and enriched with reflectance information. 

The easy portable configuration makes Heron Lite a perfect solution for daily 3D fast mapping activities on the field. Heron Lite is composed by a Velodyne Puck Lite sensor and an easy to carry rugged control unit. 

Heron Lite has a very light and simple structure. The LiDAR sensor, installed on a stick or on a helmet, is connected to the rugged control unit and powered by a light battery carried on a belt. Heron Lite is a very easy way to enter in the 3D real time SLAM mapping world; it is possible to upgrade the Lite model to the Heron AC or MS. 

Heron Lite works perfectly with the worldwide known JRC 3D Reconstructor" software, provided under request in bundle with the instrument. The point cloud data coming from Heron can be managed by all the main 3D point cloud software available on the market.
