Trauma / Emergency Care at Lilavati Hospital is an exclusive center committed to provide immediate treatment in any emergency. All the Emergency Medicine doctors, trauma surgeons and support staffs are trained to deal with cases from minor injuries to patients requiring advanced trauma care.
The primary objective of the centre is to provide acute care to injured patients. This centre provides round-the-clock service with 24 x 7 accesses to modern operation theatres, a fully stocked 24-hour pharmacy & imaging and diagnostic tools for immediate and accurate diagnosis of the patient's condition. The emergency care staff are specially trained and equipped to respond to patients who need immediate and prompt medical care.

The Department of Critical Care has 63 beds in all, with an high dependency unit (HDU).

Day-Care centre cater to the patients undergoing surgeries and procedures that do not require overnight stay in the hospital. The department is manned with a team of highly skilled and experienced nurses The day-care department is open from 7:00am to 8:00pm. Admission into Daycare is done only on doctor’s advice.
Facilities Available
The Day care centre at Lilavati Hospital is located on the Ground Floor and 8th Floor of the hospital with 6 beds on each floor. The ground floor daycare caters to all medical and surgical procedures whereas; the 8th floor daycare centre is dedicated for medical treatment of cancer. A Laminar airflow hood is available in the centre for preparing the drugs and to ensure sterility of the products used in treatment of cancer.
Services Available
The day-care on the ground floor is just adjacent to the peri-operative suites manned with qualified nurses to cater to every medical need of a patient. All minor, intermediate, major procedures such as Cardiac Catheterization, Cataract with IOL, Lithotripsy can be performed here.
The day-care on the 8th floor is equipped to handle and ensure safe and friendly environment for patients receiving chemotherapy and supportive treatments for cancer. 

The Dialysis Unit is situated on 6th floor & it functions round the clock for patient care. On an average 45-50 dialysis are performed everyday. A team of well-known Nephrologists and nursing staff look after this department. Asepsis is strictly maintained and monitored.

• Peritoneal dialysis: Counselling, patient acceptance, options for manual or automated peritoneal dialysis and training for the same are provide with help of a special team.
• Kidney transplantation: Special team for transplantation includes trained Nephrologists, specially trained surgeons and anesthetists. Trained nurses to look after the kidney transplant recipients in postoperative period, in ICU setting.
• Vascular access: Patients opting for long term hemodialysis are evaluated for their vascular access, and if having problem, evaluated by a special team of vascular access specialist. This includes Nephrologists, vascular surgeon and interventional radiologist.
