Day zero at a place that the adults kept referring to as the beach. I wasn’t sure what to expect, but they said that there would be a lot of cool breeze blowing in my face, and a lot of water to jump into. I didn’t know what to expect and left it to the adults to take me there. Not like I had a choice.

After a ton of surprise engagement sessions, time was set aside for an official engagement ceremony, where Raisa and Nashvin got to exchange rings, and seal the deal, along with they family and friends. The event as held at the Mandovi Hotel in Panjim, and involved a lot of drinking, dancing and singing. Here some photos from that night, where Raisa and Nashvin got engaged for the third time!

Meet Baby J. Look at that beautiful face!!

I guess some of you might have met him before. He is the cool baby-man who we hang out with at times. He used to point at stuff and say, “There!” and used to click his tongue at a very young age. But over the past few months his vocabulary has improved a lot. As of now, we still classify him as “illiterate”, since he does not know how to sign and had to put his thumb impression on his passport.

Day 3, the last and final day of the 2016 Summer XC MTB Race that was held at the Mhadai Wildlife Sanctuary, located at the border of Goa and Karnataka. This was a race with handicapped timings, hence everyone had a change of a podium finish, not just the professionals.

Another man down! And hopefully no more re-spawning required for this event in life. The madman who would sometimes take the entire team down with his accidental (or maybe intentional, we would never know) TKs (Counter-Strike), finally tied the knot. What’s going to happen to his lovely wife now, no one knows.

Thanks to the enthusiasm of the lawyer friend and his pregnant wife, my pretty wife and the good looking couple, we walked through some muddy paths, past a decomposed dog and were able to get some lovely photographs during sunset at Siolim.

Most of the time we use this little beast of a phone, that I got some time in December 2013. Still works like a charm, and keeps our Instagram feeds (Priya/Lovell) running, even after all the multiple falls and hits it has taken.

Then it was time to dance into the night. The heels were lost and the dancing shoes came out to join the party. A still from the wedding of Jennie and Yuri, shot at the Coco Loco wedding hall in Agassaim, Goa.

After a beautiful service at the Church of St. Thomas, Aldona we headed off to Marinha Dourada, at Arpora to celebrate the big day of Nadine & Ariel. The cake stole the show for a short while, before the bride and groom made their entrance.

These are a couple of my favorite shots of the bride from a wedding that I documented in Hyderabad a while back. The first photograph was shot with me having to stand on a chair to create enough depth of field allowing me to keep her eyes in focus.

After spending enough time getting some nice bridal shots, we had to rush to the wedding hall as things were behind schedule. All the ladies accompanying in bride are going, ‘Rush rush! We are late’. And then we find ourselves in the hallway. Thought we’d take a couple of shots, not much to the amusement of the elder women standing behind us. But nevertheless, the corridor was long and empty, the ceiling was low, flashes were at full charge, we had to stop!

The all so famous Baga Beach, at Goa. These shots were taken from the rocks that are on the opposite side of the Baga creek.

Strange, isn’t it That people are so cynical about taking any kind of ‘risks’. How would you ever know how things would turn out if you never even gave it a shot

How would you know how your life would be without even going out there and trying to live it Such a shame. Okay, I can understand that you don’t take un-calculated risks. Like putting all your money in a stupid get-rich-quick scheme that everyone knows will crash. But in other cases, if you want to do something, just go do it. You might fail trying, but at least, you will have a story to tell.

The year, 2013. All the planet had aligned in some fashion and the Maha Kumbha Mela, held only at Prayag, every 144 years was in full swing. John Paul, Joshua Singh, Mukesh and I decided to make a road/train trip to Allahabad to experience this once in a lifetime event. Train tickets were booked and we were ready to hit the road. Unfortunately a few days before our scheduled departure a couple of bombs ripped through Hyderabad and everyone was on high alert. Including Allahabad (where the Kumbh mela is held).

This meant we had to alter our plans. We decided to make a trip to the Tadoba Andheri Reserve instead, figure out what do and where to go next. The plan was to have no plan. Just to hop onto local buses and trains and somehow make our way around parts of central India.

Update: I received a couple of phone calls from the Kodak management over the past few days. They have apologized for the inconvenience caused and for the way this issue was handled and assured me that this kind of issues would not happen in the future. Which I appreciate.

Yup that’s right. The folks at Kodak Alaris (India) decided to take me for ride and I had to write them a letter!!!
