• Surface preparation:For fresh/new surfaces,sand the surface with Emery Paper No.80 and wipe clean. Apply the firt coat of primer and allow it to dryfor 6 to 8 hours. Smoothen the surface by applying thin coats of putty to fill in all the dents.Allow the putty to dry overnight.Sand the surface with Emery Paper No.100and wipe clean .Apply the second coat of primer and allow it to dry for 6 to 8 hours.Sand the surface with Emery Paper No.220 and wipe clean. For previously painted surfaces:Strip all the old paint and remove all the loose particles before starting the above process.

Post Painting Care

For the best performance of the paint, ensure proper washing and cleaning of all algal and fungal growth, if any, at regular intervals of six months.

Precautions

• Do not apply when ambient temperature is less than 10°C or if the temperature might drop to this level within 4 hrs of application.
•  Do not over-thin or over-extend the brush.
• Tint using Asian Paints machine colourants only
• Stir well and strain before use.
• Tinted paints need thorough shaking immediately after tinter addition as well as before use.

Apply one self- priming coat or one coat of Dulux Exterior Acrylic Primer or Dulux Weathershield Alkali Bloc Primer after thinning with water in the ratio of 1:1 by volume. Apply 2-3 coats of Dulux Weathershield Protect and allow a drying time of 4-6 hours between the coats. An additional coat should be applied in case of horizontal surfaces. 
• Step 3 : Drying time Touch dry for the paint is up to 30 minutes and allow 4-6 hours of drying time for recoating Health & Safety Store in a cool, dry and well-ventilated place, away from sources of heat, ignition and direct sunlight. Keep the container tightly closed. Keep out of the reach of children and away from food, drinks and animal feed. If swallowed, seek· medical advice immediately and show this container or label. • Step 2 : Application Process Apply one coat of Dulux Promise exterior Primer after thinning with water in the ratio of 1:1 by volume. Dilute 1 litre of Dulux Promise Exterior Acrylic Emulsion with a maximum of 700 ml of clean water. In case of dark colors dilute with maximum of 500ml of clean water. 
• Step 3 : Drying Time Apply 2 coats of Dulux Promise Exterior Acrylic Emulsion with a gap of 4-6 hours between the coats. 3 coats may be required for darker colors. An additional coat should be applied in case of horizontal surfaces like the top of windows, ledges, Chajjas, parapet wall, etc. Health & Safety No added Lead, Mercury and chromium compounds. Lead content in dried paint film does not exceed 90 parts per million. Treatments such as sanding, burning off etc of paint films may generate hazardous dust and other fumes. Sand the surface with Emery paper No 160 and wipe off loose particles. Apply the first coat of Dulux Water Based Cement Primer or Dulux Solvent Based Cement Primer and allow it dry for 6 hours. Smoothen the surface by applying thin coats of Duwel Acrylic Wall based putty to fill in all the dents, allow the putty to dry overnight. Sand the surface with emery paper no 180 and wipe clean. Apply the 2nd coat of primer and allow drying for 6-8 hrs. Sand the surface with emery paper no 380 and wipe clean.
