Tamizh Maruthuvam is the world’s ancient and traditional medicinal system. It comprises of various medicinal / maruthuvam streams such as - Siddha (Yogi / Saint), Varma, Nattu (local), Paati (Grand Mother’s / traditional / household), Mooligai (Herbal) and Iyarkai (Natural).
My parents’ had deep involvement and patronization of the Siddhar’s concepts and methods of medicines. I was fed with Tamil and Siddha Medicine books like Kaivalyam, Gnanavasitham, Arutpa since a toddler along with other food.
Thavathiru. SEC.Arunacahala swamigal, his disciple Thavathiru.Vaithyalinga Swamigal, Thavathiru.Chenniappa Swamigal and Avudai Thangam Thai had close relations with my parents.
Thiru.Vallal Ramalinga Swamigal Arutpa and Siddha Medicine concepts attracted me a lot. Thiru.Valla Nattu Swamigal (a) Sathu Chidambaram Siddhar’s taught me the important of Siddha Maruthuvam and shown the valuable herbs and explain their key benefits in human life. They both played a key role in my knowledge in my young age. He took place in my heart and my consciousness (AGATHIL PATHIPITHAVAR). So, I called him as “AGATHEESAR”. The accomplishments and successes seen so far in the last 49 years are purely out of Valla Siddhar’s blessings to this earnest disciple.
Thiru.Mayandi Swamigal (a) Idayamelur Maya Siddhar, Thiru.Suriyadas Swamigal Jeeva Samadhi from Palani Maruthuva Nagar and my heartiest father of medicines Hakkim Baba (a) Pamu Abdulla are the few other Siddhar’s hand holding me in my endeavors.
With whole heart bubbling with love and care, peaceful, pleasant simple appearances, they are with us for us. This is a dedicated service to mankind not for only commercial purposes. This is how our family dedicates to this medicinal field with ever growing learning and serving from great Siddhars.
