Window Roll-up

The Window Roll-up (PWR) is employed for forming an Electronic interface of the manual power windows with either the manual central locking or the remote controlled central locking systems. It facilitates the Automatic Roll-Up of the all the windows in a CASCADE fashion i.e. windows shall roll-up one – by – one. The sequence followed in the Cascade Mode is first the Driver door window rolls up followed by Front Left, Rear Left and then Rear Right.     Salient Features:   >>    Automatic Window Roll-up: As explained above; that once triggered the Regulator rolls up all the windows automatically. The Rollup Function can be switched ‘ON’ by the following ways:   >>    Incase of cars with manual central locking, whenever the driver door is locked with the key.   >>    Incase of Remote Controlled Security systems; whenever the car is locked with the Remote Control.  >>    Emergency Stop: In case of emergencies; put the Ignition to ON, the operation shall stop immediately.

Parking Assistance System

Parking Assistance System (PAS) as the name suggests, assist the driver in safe parking. PAS helps in detecting the distance between the vehicle and obstacle. The system emits Ultrasonic sound waves and then receives the reflected waves, detect the side of nearest obstacle, and calculate the distance from the nearest obstacle. The indication differs in different models. There are different types of indicating devices: Visual: LED (light Emitting Diodes), VFD (Vacuum Florescent Display), Visual Image with OSD (indicating side/distance of obstacle) Audio: Buzzer and Human Voice The sensors (comes in different color to match the color of Vehicle) can detect the obstacle even in dark and in rainy days. The system is designed and developed with high quality and with latest technology to prove the long stability in the market. The sensors have super wide detection angle, prevent impact from sides and easy to install in all the Car, MUV’s and LCV’s TORQ Parking Assistance systems use ultrasonic proximity sensors embedded in the front and/or rear bumpers, to measure the distances to nearby objects at low level. The sensors measure the time taken for each sound pulse to be reflected back to the receiver. Depending on the speed of the vehicle and the distance to the obstacle, the system will warn the driver by visual and/or audible means about the risk of collision. The feedback to the driver will generally indicate the direction and proximity of the obstacle. Sensors are usually fitted to the rear of a vehicle but may also be fitted to the front. Rear sensors are activated when reverse gear is selected and then deactivated as soon as any other gear or neutral or park is selected. Front sensors are generally activated by pressing a button (Brake) and then automatically deactivated after few seconds when the vehicle exceeds a certain speed, this is to avoid nuisance warnings in slow moving traffic.

Xenon high-intensity-discharge (HID) headlights employ xenon gas to produce a slightly bluish light, up to three times brighter than halogen headlights. Technically High-Intensity-Discharge (HID) light, xenon headlights are named for the inert gas they employ to amplify light produced by electricity jumping between two electrodes. HID lights don’t use a filament, as do incandescent headlights, and they tend to last two to three times longer. They also provide much more uniform intensity. Aim a set of xenon headlights at a wall, and you’ll see they define a sharp line at the top of the projected light pattern rather than the gradual fade common to conventional headlights. HID lights produce ultraviolet as well as visible light, which makes reflective highway signs glow more brilliantly. HID lights operate on high voltages — 23,000 volts when first turned on and around 80 volts thereafter — so they require additional components, namely a type of transformer called ballast. HID off road-style accessory lights that come with separate ballast are fairly common. Though rare, there are now true HID headlights that can be added to a vehicle not equipped with them at the factory. The examples I’ve seen are full headlight assemblies that include the ballast, not simply bulbs that fit into existing assemblies. You’re sure to see more HID headlights in future years. Though they are currently rather expensive and often tied to premium option packages, the systems are smaller, lighter and allow for smaller headlamp assemblies — an advantage to vehicle designers and engineers alike. Though they operate on high voltage, the current they draw is actually around half that of conventional headlights, another plus. Then there’s the issue of performance; once you drive behind xenon headlights, you never want to go back. There are hardly any lighting systems for cars that are more efficient than modern High Intensity Discharge lamps from TORQ. This type of lamp offers high luminous efficacy, long life, excellent color rendering and low thermal output. Discharge lamps produce extremely intense light from minimal dimensions. Thanks to the compact design of these lamps their light can be directed almost as well as a point light source. Overall the system uses lesser energy than halogen lighting, while producing 3 times more light.
