Specifications:

Casing: maxion casing is constructed from FRP moulded panels suitably flanged. All joints sealed with water proof compound and bolted together with galvanised steel bolts or stainless steel bolts unless specified otherwise. Additional embossing is done for extra strength.

Fill: General fill consists of Honeycomb PVC film type splash deck is modules with high resistant to corrosion & highly efficient for heat transfer .

Fan: The fan consists of axial propeller fan blades of special alloy aluminium blades of designed aerofoil construction. The blades are of adjustable pitch connected to a common M.S.H.D.G./Aluminium Alloy Hub. The fan is statically balanced.FRP fan set can also be supplied on request at extra cost.

Drift Eliminator: To reduce carry out losses through entrainment of moisture rops in the air stream by specially desigened multiblade rotary drift eliminator made of FRP aluminium sheets.

Motor: Special low RPM totally enclosed motors of Vertical, Flange type with enlarged & threaded shaft and sealed top is supplied with the cooling tower. The motor is also weather proof and in IP-55 construction.

Water Distribution System: The hot water is raised by hot water riser & taken inside by a M.S.H.D.G./P.V.C. hot water header inside. Branch distribution pipes fitted with Polypropelene Splash cups / non clogging nozzles are connected to hot water header and uniform water distribution over entire fill is achieved.It is totally maintenance free distribution.

Capacity Available : 3 TR to 1000 TR in single cell. Larger capacities are available in multiple cell construction.

In Round FRP cooling towers production a special composition of raw materials are selected to withstand corrosion, to resist water borne bacterias and organisms & is light in weight which permits roof installation with special reinforcement of any kind. Vertical induced draft counter-flow design permits installation in any direction with freedom. It consumes less power (energy) overall because of less air resistance to water, saving in operational costs. Available in various colours matching to exterior architectural beauty. A direct driven axial fan ensures the system is free from problems faced with belt & gear drives.

Specifications:

Casing: Cooling Tower Casing is made of selected grade materials of tough Fibre Glass Reinforced Polyester & resins, etc. Additional embossing is done for extra strength in case of big cooling towers.

Fill: Max-Ion Honeycomb & ring type P.V.C fills are used for extended contact area having a high heat transfer efficiency. The crossing of air & water streams in close proximity which creates a diffused turbulence conducive to evaporation & efficient heat transfer.

Water Basin: is completely leak proof which avoids spillage & seepage of water. It is of deep sump design to ensure maximum water level at all times & made up of FRP with additional stiffening to take care of extra water weight. However RCC basin is recommended for capacities 300TR and above.

Sprinkler: maxion  specially designed rotary sprinkler head is made of PVC/aluminium alloy to avoid corrosion, also fitted with sealed ball bearings to take care of thrust & radial loads. S.S. & Brass sprinklers are also provided at an extra cost.

Fan: maxion cast aluminum alloy fan is of aero dynamic designed axial flow type to achieve high efficiency. FRP fan set can also be supplied on request at extra cost.

Drift Eliminater: To reduce carry out losses through entrainment of moisture drops in the stream by specially designed multiblade rotary drift eliminator made of FRP sheets/aluminium. Additional PVC eliminator is provided in large capacity cooling towers.

Supports & Hardware: All components like tower supports, motor supports, leg supports, etc. are either hot dip galvanised or epoxy coated. Hardware is Galvanised Steel. Stainless Steel or Phosphor Bronze hardwares can be supplied on request at extra cost.

These Cooling Towers are based on the principal of transfer of heat from hot water to atmospheric air by arranging the both air & water to come in contact with each other in such a fashion that heat transfer is maximum.

The material of construction of these Cooling Towers is chemically treated wood for louvers. The distribution system is made up of GI/PVC and structure is of chemically treated wood. Specially designed Nylon/PP nozzles are used for achieving maximum efficiency. These towers are available with chemically treated wood, FRP coated MS Basin or without basin.

                                                                    WOODEN COOLING TOWER

The Cooling Tower industry subjects its wooden towers to the harshest environments conceivable. The wet-dry cyclical conditions and structural designs intensify the undisciplined seasoning of the wooden members, resulting in warping, twisting and checking. Wood preservative treatment is based on two separate -- yet interdependent-- requirements: penetration and retention of the chemical preservative.

max-ion Cooling Towers maintain timber quality as per IS 2372 and have in house treated timber workshop having AsCu timber treatment plant as per IS 401 wherein the preservatives (Copper, Chromium and Arsenic salts) are pressure impregnated in the timber and designed to react with the wood cell components so that the active elements, copper (Cu), chromium (Cr) and arsenic (As) are fixed into the wood's structure. The arsenic component protects the sapwood from insect attack, the copper and arsenic from fungal degrade, while the chromium component chemically locks the elements into the timber, offering high resistance to leaching. Because the treatment is resistant to leaching, it can be used on timber that will be exposed to the elements or used in-ground.

These cooling towers are supplied with multiblade cast aluminium adjustable pitch fan with M.S. fabricated H.D.G. hub and S.S. hardware. Motor provided with the system is special low R.P.M. totally enclosed vertical, Flange type with enlarge & threaded shaft & sealed top is supplied with the cooling tower. The motor is totally weather proof in IP-55 construction suitable for heated & humid atmosphere. Main structural components & other light sections machined with selected preservative timber.

All structural joints are bolted with galvanized bolts and S.S./Brass Nails. Stainless Steel or Phosphor Bronze hardwares can be supplied on request at extra cost. For uniform distribution of water, hot water basin is equipped with distribution box through which the water is equally distributed in the hot water basin & is further splashed downward through spray target nozzles.

The standard cladding of profile corrugated asbestos cement sheet, the joints of which are lapped to shed water only inside the cooling tower. Specially designed eliminator from single pass pattern to 4 pass pattern of various materials are provided according to applications to minimise bleed of losses. Fill bars are designed to offer maximum splash surface and wetted surface resulting in a high heat transfer rate. The wooden fills are supported on wooden stringers or inside S.S. Wiremesh grids which assure positive & permanent positioning. Different type of fill materials with differentt shapes are available according to suited design of applications.

In the above model Fan is directly coupled with the slow RPM motors (vertical Flange mounted with sealed top & enlarged threaded shaft). However , as a option gear driven fan system can be provided if required in some stringent applications.
