SORANIB contains Sorafenib which belongs to the group of medicines called antineoplastic agents. It is used to treat liver and thyroid cancer. It can also be used to treat advanced cancer of kidney, when standard therapy cannot cure the disease. Sorafenib works by slowing down the rate of growth of tumor cells and arrests blood supply to them.

This medicine can be taken either without food or with a low-to-moderate fat meal. Do not take this medicine with high fat meals, because this may make SORANIB less effective. It is important to take this medicine at same time each day, so that there is a steady concentration in your bloodstream. During the treatment, your doctor would monitor your blood pressure and blood sugar levels regularly to avoid any unwanted side effects.

The most common side effects of taking this medicine are nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, hair loss, headache, muscle pain and mouth sores. Before taking this medicine, inform your doctor if you have severe kidney or liver impairment. While taking this medicine, avoid becoming pregnant. If you could become pregnant use an adequate contraceptive method. Do not breastfeed while taking this medicine, because it may interfere with the growth and development of your baby. FEMISTRA 1MG TABLET contains Anastrozole which belongs to the group of medicines called Anti-cancer drugs. It is used in the treatment of breast cancer in women who have undergone menopause. Breast cancer refers to the disease in which there is overgrowth of cells in the breast which may go out of control.   

Along with the treatment you might have to undergo some lifestyle changes such as maintaining healthy weight, exercising and quitting alcohol. Prior to the treatment with FEMISTRA 1MG TABLET your doctor might want you to take some diagnostic tests to better evaluate your condition.   

Before taking FEMISTRA 1MG TABLET, inform your doctor if you have liver or kidney problems, lactose intolerance and osteoporosis (decreased strength of bones).   

If you are pregnant or breastfeeding, you should not take FEMISTRA 1MG TABLET without the consultation of your doctor.   

FEMISTRA 1MG TABLET is not recommended for use in children and adolescents. It should be used with caution in elderly patients.

BIOVORIN 15MG TABLET contains Leucovorin Calcium, which belongs to a group of medicines called Vitamin (Folic acid). It is used to treat and prevent folic acid deficiency. Folic acid deficiency is a condition caused by a lower level of folic acid in the body. It is also used to treat megaloblastic anaemia (abnormally large-sized RBC) caused by folic acid deficiency. It is also used to treat or prevent folic acid deficiency caused by other medicines such as methotrexate (a medicine used to treat cancer).

Symptoms of folic acid deficiency are memory problems, depression and confusion, visual problems, a sore and red tongue, mouth ulceration, weakness and tiredness, loss of energy, and a prickling or tingling sensation. Your doctor may advise routine blood tests to evaluate and monitor your health status.

BIOVORIN 15MG TABLET is generally not recommended for use in patients with pernicious anaemia or other megaloblastic anaemia caused by vitamin B12 deficiency. BIOVORIN 15MG TABLET should be used with caution during pregnancy and breastfeeding, only if recommended by your doctor.

The most common side effects of taking BIOVORIN 15MG TABLET are nausea, vomiting, lethargy, malaise, fatigue, alopecia, anorexia, stomatitis, diarrhoea, bruises, nosebleeds, and rashes. Contact your doctor if your symptoms get worse.

Votrient is a prescription medicine used to treat adults with advanced soft tissue sarcoma (STS) who have received chemotherapy in the past. It is not known if Votrient is effective in treating certain STS or certain gastrointestinal (GI) tumors.

It is not known if Votrient is safe and effective in children under 18 years of age.

ROLIMUS 5MG contains Everolimus is an antineoplastic chemotherapy drug. This medication is classified as an mTOR kinase inhibitor. It reduces the blood supply to the tumour and slows down the growth and spread of cancer cells. This medicine is used to treat people with advanced kidney cancer and subependymal giant cell astrocytoma (SEGA) by slowing the growth and spread of tumour cells. It is also used as Prophylaxis of organ rejection in kidney and liver transplant.

Everolimus is a targeted therapy which works by targeting specific to the cancer cells, thereby decreasing side effects caused by unwanted damage to the healthy cells. It is a kinase inhibitor that inhibits mTor kinase. mTor kinase is an enzyme required for cell growth and survival and by blocking this enzyme, the medication prevents cell division and, in turn, tumor growth. The medication can also interrupt the development of blood vessels (angiogenesis) that supply with nutrients, which tumor need to grow.

Always take this medicine as instructed by your doctor.Avoid grapefruit juice while taking this medicine. Swallow this medicine whole and do not chew or crush it. ROLIMUS 5MG can develop mouth ulcers and sores. Your doctor might prescribe with a mouthwash, gel or other products. Before taking this medicine, consult your doctor if you have any ongoing medication for any underlying disease. Do not drive or handle any machines while taking this medicine may cause tiredness. It is not to be used in children or adolescents below 18 years of age. The most common side effects are chills (signs of infection), fever, coughing and wheezing, excessive thirst, high or low urine output, increased appetite with weight loss, tiredness and bleeding.

PAZINIB 200 TABLET contains Pazopanib which belongs to the group of medicines called Protein kinase inhibitors. It is used in the treatment of kidney cancer (that has advanced or spread to other organs) and soft tissue sarcoma.

Soft tissue sarcoma is a type of cancer that affects the supportive tissues of the body. It can occur in the muscles, blood vessels, fat tissues or other tissues that support, surround and protect the organs.

Your doctor may ask you to undergo certain diagnostic tests to check the functioning of your liver, kidney and heart and may monitor your blood pressure prior to and while you take PAZINIB 200 TABLET.

Before taking [GBNKEWYORD], consult with your doctor if you have any heart, kidney or liver diseases, had lung problems, thyroid problems, bleeding or blood clotting issues, stomach or bowel problems (perforation or fistula), aneurysm (enlargement and weakening of a blood vessel wall) or have high blood pressure.

PAZINIB 200 TABLET is not recommended in pregnant and breastfeeding women. PAZINIB 200 TABLET is not recommended in children and adolescents below 18 years of age. Consult with your doctor before taking PAZINIB 200 TABLET.

The most common side effects of PAZINIB 200 TABLET are indigestion, bloating, flatulence, nosebleed, dry mouth, mouth ulcers or dizziness. Consult with your doctor if the symptoms do not improve or get worse.

FEMPRO 2.5MG contains Letrozole which belongs to the group of medicines called Hormonal Chemotherapeutic agents. It is used to treat and prevent breast cancer in postmenopausal women. It can be given either as an initial therapy or following therapy with other medicines such as tamoxifen. It can also be used to prevent breast tumor from spreading to other parts of the body in patients with advanced breast cancer.

Breast cancer can be defined as the uncontrollable growth and division of cells present in the breast. It is predominantly caused due to hormonal imbalance (increased estrogen production) or due to lifestyle factors. Symptoms include breast pain or tenderness, purple or red colored breasts, nipple discharge and lump growths.

Letrozole is an aromatase inhibitor. It reduces breast cancer by suppressing the excessive release of estrogen (a female sex hormone) in the body that triggers breast cancer. This slows down or stops the cancer from growing and spreading to other parts of the body. Before taking FEMPRO 2.5MG inform your doctor if you have any problems in your kidneys or liver. You must also inform your doctor before taking FEMPRO 2.5MG if you have a history of any bone problems such as osteoporosis or joint pain.

FEMPRO 2.5MG is only intended for use in women who have reached their menopause. It is strictly not recommended for use in pregnant women as it may cause serious harm to the growing baby. The most common side effects of taking FEMPRO 2.5MG are hot flushes, fatigue, increased sweating, joint pain, hair loss, vaginal bleeding, and high blood cholesterol levels. Talk to your doctor if any of these side effect bothers you.                                   
                

• Treats and prevents breast cancer in postmenopausal women

SPNIB 70 TABLET contains Dasatinib which belongs to the group of medicines called Tyrosine Kinase Inhibitor. It is used to treat cancers of blood and bone marrow (such as chronic myeloid leukaemia (CML) or Philadelphia chromosome positive (Ph+) acute lymphoblastic leukaemia) in adults, adolescents and in children (aged 1 year or above).

It is primarily used in patients when treatment with conventional therapies is not suitable or fails to provide adequate response.

Leukaemia is the cancer of blood cells. It is caused due to abnormal growth and multiplication of blood cells within the bone marrow. It is characterized by severe tiredness, breathlessness, increased bleeding tendency, tiredness, anemia, night sweats, fever, chills, frequent infections and weight loss.

During treatment with SPNIB 70 TABLET your doctor will closely monitor your health condition through several blood tests to avoid the risk of unwanted side effects. Avoid eating grapefruit or drinking grapefruit juice while taking SPNIB 70 TABLET as it may increase the risk of side effects.

Before taking SPNIB 70 TABLET inform your doctor if you have any liver, kidney or heart problems. You must also inform your doctor if you have or at risk of developing hepatitis C infection as a precaution.

Avoid concomitant use of antacids or any stomach medicines along with SPNIB 70 TABLET. Leave a time gap of at least 2 hours between the medicines. SPNIB 70 TABLET is not recommended for use in pregnant or breastfeeding women.

Men and women taking SPNIB 70 TABLET must use a suitable contraceptive method to avoid pregnancy while undergoing therapy with SPNIB 70 TABLET.

The most common side effects of taking SPNIB 70 TABLET are increased bleeding tendency, increased infections, feeling tired or weak, nausea, vomiting, hair loss, mouth ulcers, changes in taste, inflammation of the food pipe or stomach, muscle pain or spasm, skin rashes, headache, dizziness and weight loss. Contact your doctor if any of these side effect worsens.

BICATERO 50MG TABLET contains Bicalutamide which belongs to a group of medicines called Anti-androgens. It is used in the treatment of prostate cancer in adult male patients. Prostate cancer is a type of slow growing cancer that occurs in the cells of the prostate gland (a small walnut-shaped gland that provides nourishment to sperm in males) that grows out of control and spread to other parts of the body.

Prostate cancer is characterized by symptoms such as troubled urination, blood in urine, urge to urinate frequently at night, blood in semen, bone pain, losing weight without trying, pain while sitting and erectile dysfunction. During treatment with BICATERO 50MG TABLET, your doctor may perform blood tests to check for any changes to your blood.

Avoid direct exposure to excessive sunlight or UV light while you are taking BICATERO 50MG TABLET. Before taking BICATERO 50MG TABLET, inform your doctor if you have any liver or heart problems or diabetes. BICATERO 50MG TABLET is not recommended for use in women, including pregnant women or mothers who are breast-feeding their babies.

BICATERO 50MG TABLET is also not recommended for use in children and adolescents (less than 18 years of age). The most common side effects of taking BICATERO 50MG TABLET are skin rash, breast swelling or tenderness, weakness, loss of appetite, dizziness, sleepiness, nausea, etc. Call your doctor if any of the symptoms gets worse over time.

• It is not known whether it is safe to consume alcohol with SPNIB 70 mg Tablet. 
• SPNIB 70 mg Tablet is unsafe to use during pregnancy as there is definite evidence of risk to the developing baby. However, the doctor may rarely prescribe it in some life-threatening situations if the benefits are more than the potential risks. 
• SPNIB 70 mg Tablet is unsafe to use during breastfeeding. Data suggests that the drug may cause toxicity to the baby.
• SPNIB 70 mg Tablet may cause side effects which could affect your ability to drive.Take special care when driving in case you experience side effects such as dizziness and blurred vision with SPNIB 70 mg Tablet.

6 MP 50MG TABLET contains Mercaptopurine which belongs to the group of medicines called Cytotoxics. 6 MP 50MG TABLET is used in adults and children to treat leukaemia, which is a type of blood cancer that occurs due to rapid growth of abnormal blood cells.

6 MP 50MG TABLET is not recommended for use in patients allergic to 6-mercaptopurine, and/or azathioprine. It is also not recommended for use in patients scheduled for vaccination.

Before taking 6 MP 50MG TABLET, inform your doctor if you have recently been vaccinated (especially with yellow fever vaccine), and/or suffer from inherited mutation of NUDT15 gene (essential for body''''s breakdown of mercaptopurine), shingles, chicken pox/hepatitis B infection (virus-induced liver disease), kidney problems, and liver problems (such as hepatitis B).

6 MP 50MG TABLET is generally not recommended for use during pregnancy and in women planning for pregnancy since the medicine may cause harm to the foetus. It is also not recommended for use in breastfeeding women.

6 MP 50MG TABLET should be used with caution in children (aged below 6 years/low body mass) since it may cause low blood sugar (associated with symptoms such as nausea, dizziness, confusion). IMATIB 100MG TABLET contains Imatinib which belongs to the group of medicines called Tyrosine Kinase Inhibitors. It is used in adults, children and adolescents to treat chronic myeloid leukaemia (CML) (a form of leukaemia in which certain abnormal white cells (named myeloid cells) start growing out of control) and philadelphia chromosome positive acute lymphoblastic leukaemia (Ph-positive ALL) (a form of leukaemia in which certain abnormal white cells (named lymphoblasts) start growing out of control).

Also, it is used in adults only to treat myelodysplastic/myeloproliferative diseases (MDS/MPD) (a group of blood diseases in which some blood cells start growing out of control), hyper eosinophilic syndrome (HES) and/or chronic eosinophilic leukaemia (CEL) (a blood diseases in which some blood cells (named eosinophils) start growing out of control), gastrointestinal stromal tumours (GIST) (cancer of the stomach and bowels) and dermatofibrosarcoma protuberans (DFSP) (cancer of the tissue beneath the skin in which some cells start growing out of control).

Before taking IMATIB 100MG TABLET, inform your doctor if you have or ever had kidney, liver or heart problems, hepatitis B infection and thrombotic microangiopathy (symptoms include bruising, bleeding, fever, fatigue and confusion).

IMATIB 100MG TABLET is generally not recommended for use in pregnant women unless advised by the doctor and it is not recommended for use in breastfeeding women. IMATIB 100MG TABLET should be used with caution in children, adolescents and elderly patients (aged 65 years and above).

The most common side effects of taking IMATIB 100MG TABLET are nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, headache, weight gain, loss of appetite, disturbed sense of taste, blurred vision and weakness. Consult your physician if any of the side effects worsen.

GEFTICIP 250MG TABLET contains Gefitinib which belongs to the group of medicines called Antineoplastics. It is indicated for the first-line treatment of patients with locally advanced or metastatic non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC) who have activating mutation of the EGFR-TK.

It is generally characterized by symptoms such as chest pain or discomfort, persistent cough, trouble breathing, wheezing, tiredness and difficulty while swallowing which may be diagnosed as any of its type as adenocarcinoma (cancer involving the outer part of the lung), squamous cell carcinoma (cancer occurring in the centre part of the lungs), and large cell carcinoma (cancer that can occur in any part of the lung).

Along with this treatment, your doctor might ask you to take liver function test to assess your liver function.

GEFTICIP 250MG TABLET is not recommended for use in patients allergic to Gefitinib. Before taking GEFTICIP 250MG TABLET, inform your doctor if you have other lung problems, liver, or kidney problems.

GEFTICIP 250MG TABLET is not recommended for use in pregnant and breastfeeding women. It is not recommended for use in children and adolescents (below 18 years). Consult your doctor before taking GEFTICIP 250MG TABLET.

The most common side effects of taking GEFTICIP 250MG TABLET are diarrhoea, vomiting, nausea, skin reactions, loss of appetite, weakness, and red or sore mouth. Consult with your doctor if any of the symptoms worsen.

GEFTICIP 250MG TABLET works by decreasing the survival rate and proliferation of malignant cancer cells in lung tissues by blocking a protein called epidermal growth factor receptor (EGFR) which is responsible for the growth and spread of cancer cell thereby preventing the growth and spread of cancer cells to other parts of the body.
