• Efavir 600 Tablet 30''''s belongs to the group of medications called ‘antiretroviral drugs’ used to treat HIV infection in adults and children of at least 3 months old and weighing at least 3.5 kg. The human immunodeficiency virus (HIV) is a sexually transmitted infection that over time leads to acquired immunodeficiency syndrome (AIDS). Efavir 600 Tablet 30''''s is used with other medicines to control and reduce the amount of HIV in the body so that the immune system can work in a good way.

  Efavir 600 Tablet 30''''s contains ''''Efavirenz'''' which is a ‘nucleotide reverse transcriptase inhibitor’ and works by interfering with the normal working of enzymes (reverse transcriptase in HIV ) that are essential for the production of viruses. It can effectively reduce the symptoms associated with HIV.

  Take Efavir 600 Tablet 30''''s as prescribed by your doctor. You are suggested to take Efavir 600 Tablet 30''''s as long as your doctor has prescribed it after checking your medical condition. The common side effects of Efavir 600 Tablet 30''''s are trouble sleeping, drowsiness, dizziness, unusual dreams and trouble concentrating. However, seek medical attention if the side effects persist.

  Do not take Efavir 600 Tablet 30''''s if you are allergic to Efavir 600 Tablet 30''''s or any other contents present in it. Efavir 600 Tablet 30''''s should be used with caution in patients with severe liver and kidney diseases. Consult a doctor immediately if you develop any new signs of infection while using this medicine. Inform your doctor if you are pregnant, planning to become pregnant and breastfeeding. This medicine helps to reduce the amount of HIV, which in turn improves the natural defense system(immune system ) of the body. When a person takes Efavir 600 Tablet 30''''s, it goes into their bloodstream and interferes with the action of an enzyme ( reverse transcriptase (RT)), that is used by HIV infected cells for their growth and making new viruses. HIV destroys the white cells of the body that are important for protecting the body from other infections. Efavir 600 Tablet 30''''s slows down the destruction of these white cells and stops the virus from copying it. By inhibiting the activity of this enzyme, Efavir 600 Tablet 30''''s helps to lower the risk of getting serious infections associated with HIV and allows a person to live a normal life.

• Take Efavir 600 Tablet 30''''s as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole with water; do not crush, break or chew it.

You should always take this medicine exactly as your doctor has prescribed you. You should check with your doctor in case you are not sure.

However, the recommended dose is as follows…

Adults need to take one tablet each day with or without food. But please remember to not to chew, crush or split the tablet.

• Overdose

If you have taken more than the recommended dose of this medication then, you may be at higher risk of side effects of this medicine. Therefore, you should contact to your doctor immediately for advice.

• Missed Dose:

It is although important not to miss a dose of taffic tablets but, still if you have missed a dose:

• If you get to remember about the missed dose within 18 hours of the time of taking the taffic medicine then, you must take the tablet as soon as you noticed and take the next dose as usual.
• But, if you noticed it after 18 hours or more after the missed dose then, you shouldn’t take the missed dose just wait for the next dose and take the next dose at your usual time.

In case you vomit within 1 hour after taking this medication, you should take another tablet. However, if you vomit after more than 1 hour after taking taffic, you have no need to take another tablet.

VIROPIL TABLET is a combination of Dolutegravir, Lamivudine, and Tenofovir which belongs to the group of medicines called Antiretroviral drugs. It is used to treat HIV (human immunodeficiency virus) infection.

Dolutegravir is a prescription medicine approved by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) for the treatment of HIV infection in adults and children 12 years of age and older and weighing at least 88 pounds (40 kilograms). Dolutegravir is always used in combination with other HIV medicines.

Dolutegravir belongs to a class (group) of HIV drugs called integrase inhibitors. Integrase inhibitors block an HIV enzyme called integrase. Side Effects:

Changes in liver test results. People with a history of HBV or HCV may have an increased risk of developing new or worsening changes in certain liver test results during treatment with dolutegravir.

Changes in body fat (including gain or loss of fat).
Immune reconstitution inflammatory syndrome (IRIS), a condition that sometimes occurs when the immune system begins to recover after treatment with an HIV medicine. As the immune system gets stronger, it may have an increased response to a previously hidden infection.

• Headache.
