The Department of Gastroenterology at
Medcard Multispeciality Hospital consists of certified physicians.
The mission of the department is to give world class care
through educating the best trainees for the future in
Gastroenterology and doing cutting edge
clinical and translational research.

 

The Department of Plastic Surgery is manned by consultant surgeons highly
qualified and well trained in India & abroad having great experience in open and
laparoscopy surgery. There is a 24 hours cover for all surgical emergencies including
all sorts of trauma.
 
This department provides the full spectrum of plastic, cosmetics and reconstructive
surgery. The department works closely with General Surgery, Orthopedics,
Neurosurgery, Dermatology and other surgical specialties forming an integral
part of the trauma team.

The Dept. of General Surgery is manned by consultant
surgeons highly qualified and well trained in India,
having great experience in open and laparoscopy surgery.
There is a 24 hours cover for all surgical emergencies including
all sorts of trauma. The dept. encompasses preventive,
diagnostic and therapeutic conservative
and / or surgical intervention.
Doing laparoscopy cases frequently including routine
such as cholecystectomy, appendectomy etc as well
as advanced laparoscopic procedures like spleenectomy,
nephrectomy, adrenalectomy, thymectomy, colorectal surgery,
fundoplication, hernia and obesity surgeries.

The department of anaesthesia makes intense efforts to provide optimum clinical
care to both adult and children in the peri-operative period. The services of
anesthetists are available round the clock for all planned and emergency
surgeries and procedures. The operation theatres are equipped with modern
anaesthesia machines, anaesthesia equipments.

All modern and safe drugs required for delivery of anaesthesia are available for
patients' care.

All operation rooms are equipped with infusion pumps which help deliver the exact rate and amount of drugs to patients during the surgical procedure. Patient warming devices like warming blankets and mattresses are also available for use.

We use both general and regional anaesthetic techniques either alone or in combination. Regional anaesthesia is provided by single shot or catheter techniques and is provided by using the latest in block placement techniques.

The Pediatric ward is in a vibrant and colorful ambience with adequate safety
measures for children and managed by a team of dedicated and caring staf
f with a human touch.

The department has Pediatric Specialties covering all major fields of Pediatrics
with excellent support from Physiotherapy, Dietetics, Nutrition, Child Guidance
Clinic, Interventional Radiology, Immunology and Transfusion Medicine, Metabolic
Screening lab and Molecular genetics.

The Ear Nose & Throat Department of Hospital is active since its
inception and has now developed into a super specialty ,
providing high quality care to patients, not only belonging
to the primary problems in ENT, but also to patients from
Department of Neurology, Ophthalmology, Endocrinology
and Facio-maxillary Surgery, Plastic Surgery & Oncology.

The department of Neurology at Medcard Multispecialty Hospital is a highly
integrated, collaborative department of adult and pediatric neurologists
who specialize in the research, diagnosis and treatment of a plethora of
conditions and diseases affecting the nervous system.

Neurological experts provide both one-time evaluation and continuing
care for patients with neurologic disease.
This department works in close coordination with other departments
like, Neurosurgery, Behavioral Sciences, Rehabilitation, Metabolic experts,
