Bortrac 2 Injection is given as an injection by a qualified medical professional. Your doctor will decide what dose is necessary and how often you need to take it. This will depend on what you are being treated for and may change from time to time. You should take it exactly as your doctor has advised. Taking it in the wrong way or taking too much can cause very serious side effects. It may take several weeks or months for you to see or feel the benefits but do not stop taking it unless your doctor tells you to.

Fatigue, nausea, vomiting, and loss of appetite are some common side effects of this medicine. You may be advised to drink plenty of fluids every day during the treatment. You should not drive or operate machinery as medicine may cause tiredness and dizziness. This medicine may reduce the number of blood cells (decrease red blood and white blood cells) in your blood, thereby, increasing the susceptibility to infections. Regular blood tests are required to check your blood cells along with heart, liver, and blood uric acid levels.

Before taking Bortrac 2 Injection, consult with your doctor if you have any liver, kidney, heart disease or bleeding problem.  It is important to consult a doctor if you develop symptoms like memory loss or trouble in thinking. Many other medicines can affect, or be affected by, this medicine so let your healthcare team know all medications you are using. This medicine is not recommended during pregnancy or while breastfeeding. The use of effective contraception by both males and females during treatment is important to avoid pregnancy.

Gemcite 200mg injection is a chemotherapy medication containing the active ingredient gemcitabine. It is used to treat bladder cancer, breast cancer, ovarian cancer, pancreatic cancer, and non-small cell lung cancer. Cancer is a disorder in which cells multiply in an uncontrolled and abnormal manner. Talk to your doctor if you have heart disease, liver disorders, kidney disorders, recently had radiotherapy, or vaccinated before taking this medicine. 

Gemcite  200mg injection is not recommended for adolescents and children under the age of 18. Your doctor will assess your blood cell counts and kidney and liver function each time you are given this medicine. Use effective birth control during the treatment and at least six months after the last dose. This injection may impair fertility in male patients. Men taking this medicine are advised not to father a child during the treatment and for 6 months after the treatment. 

Tell your physician if you are on a salt-controlled diet, as this medicine contains sodium. Report to your doctor immediately if you experience shortness of breath, wheezing, changes in color or volume of urine, bleeding, or upper abdominal pain while taking Gemcite 200mg injection.

Gemcite 200mg injection is used to treat

• Bladder cancer, in combination with cisplatin
• Ovarian cancer, in combination with carboplatin
• Breast cancer, in combination with paclitaxel
• Pancreatic cancer
• Non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC), alone or in combination with cisplatin

Irinotel 100mg Injection belongs to the group of medications called anti-cancer medicines or cytostatics. It consists of the active ingredient Irinotecan hydrochloride trihydrate. It is indicated for advanced colon cancer and rectal cancer in adults. It is prescribed alone or in combination with other chemotherapeutic agents. Cancer in the colon and rectum is prevalent in age groups above 50 and is further triggered by genetic and environmental factors.  

Myelosuppression (bone marrow suppression leading to low levels of RBC, WBC, and platelets in the blood) and diarrhea are the most common adverse effects of this medication. Other common side effects of Irinotel 100mg Injection are nausea, vomiting, abdominal pain, constipation, anemia, pain, fatigue, fever, infections including sepsis, abnormal bilirubin levels, hair loss, and weight loss. Inform your doctor if these side effects disturb or persist in you.  

Inform your physician if you are allergic to Irinotel 100mg Injection and its ingredients. Before starting treatment, let your physician know if you have liver problems or jaundice, kidney and heart problems, asthma, high blood pressure or high cholesterol, or severe diarrhea. If you are smoking or have ever received radiation therapy, report to your healthcare provider. Consult your healthcare provider if you take other medicines, herbs, and supplements. Effective contraception (birth control) by males and females during treatment is important to avoid pregnancy. Your physician will perform blood tests during and before treatment to check for the effects of the medicine on blood counts or blood chemistry.
