NuPTH 750 mcg Injection 3 ml belongs to the class of medication called 'anabolic (promoting bone formation) agent' indicated for prevention and treatment of osteoporosis in adults and helps to strengthen the bone. This medicine also helps to reduce the risk of spine and hip fractures. Osteoporosis is a medical condition in which bone becomes thin or weak. The chance of developing osteoporosis increases with age, after menopause or by taking corticosteroid medications (such as prednisone) for a long period of time. If proper treatment is not provided then it can even result in broken bones.

               NuPTH 750 mcg Injection 3 ml contains Teriparatide is a synthetic form of the human parathyroid hormone, which helps to regulate calcium metabolism. NuPTH 750 mcg Injection 3 ml works by causing the body to build new bone and by increasing bone strength and bone mass density (BMD) (thickness) and reduce the risk of fractures by stimulating bone formation. It also increases the thickness of bone and rebuilds bones which reduces the risk of spine and hip fractures.

Tacrograf 0.5 Capsule 10's belongs to a class of drugs called 'immunosuppressants' used to treat moderate to severe atopic dermatitis (eczema) and prevent organ rejection after a transplant. Atopic dermatitis, also known as eczema is a common skin condition associated with inflamed and itchy skin patches. The symptoms include itchy, dry, flaky, swollen, rough and irritated skin. Organ rejection occurs when a patient’s immune system recognizes the donor organ as foreign and tries to eliminate it. 

Tacrograf 0.5 Capsule 10's contains 'Tacrolimus' that works by suppressing the over-reaction of immune cells in the skin to a stimulus. Thereby, reduces allergic reaction and inflammation (redness and swelling). Also, Tacrograf 0.5 Capsule 10's suppresses T and B lymphocytes (cells in the immune system) that normally attacks foreign invaders and defend the body against foreign cells and infection. Thereby prevents organ rejection in transplanted patients and helps the body in accepting the new organ.

Use Tacrograf 0.5 Capsule 10's as prescribed by your doctor. You are advised to use Tacrograf 0.5 Capsule 10's for as long as your doctor has prescribed it for you based on your medical condition. Some people may experience itching, burning sensation, redness, pain, skin tingling, nausea, diarrhoea, headache, increased blood sugar levels, kidney problems, dizziness or stomach pain. Most of these side effects of Tacrograf 0.5 Capsule 10's do not require medical attention and gradually resolve over time. However, if the side effects persist or worsen, please consult your doctor.

If you are allergic to Tacrograf 0.5 Capsule 10's or any other medicines, please tell your doctor. If you are pregnant or a breastfeeding mother, it is advised to consult a doctor before using Tacrograf 0.5 Capsule 10's. Avoid alcohol consumption with Tacrograf 0.5 Capsule 10's as it may increase the risk of severe adverse effects. Drive only if you are alert as Tacrograf 0.5 Capsule 10's may cause drowsiness, dizziness or vision problems. CRESP 40MCG INJECTION(PFS) contains Darbepoetin alfa which belongs to the group of medicines called Erythropoiesis-stimulating agents. It is used to treat symptomatic anemia associated with chronic renal failure (CRF) in adults and children. In kidney failure, the kidney does not produce enough erythropoietin (a natural hormone) which can often cause anemia.

Before CRESP 40MCG INJECTION(PFS) treatment, your doctor may want you to take blood tests to measure how your anaemia is responding and may adjust your dose to maintain long-term control of your condition. Your blood pressure will also be checked regularly, especially at the beginning of your treatment.

CRESP 40MCG INJECTION(PFS) is not recommended for use in patients having high blood pressure which is not being controlled. Before receiving CRESP 40MCG INJECTION(PFS), inform your doctor if you have or ever had high blood pressure which is being controlled with medicines, sickle cell anemia, fits, liver disease, lack of response to medicines used to treat anemia, latex allergy or hepatitis C.

CRESP 40MCG INJECTION(PFS) should be used with caution in pregnant women. Patients must not breastfeed while receiving CRESP 40MCG INJECTION(PFS). No data is available regarding CRESP 40MCG INJECTION(PFS) use in children (less than 1 month old) with CKD receiving and not receiving dialysis. The safety and efficacy of CRESP 40MCG INJECTION(PFS) in children with cancer have not been established so, consult your child’s doctor for advice.

The most common side effects of receiving CRESP 40MCG INJECTION(PFS) are high blood pressure, allergic reactions, pain around the area injected and rash or redness of the skin. Call your doctor if any of the symptoms worsen.

Orofer S 200 Injection 10 ml contains 'Iron' sucrose that belongs to the class of 'haematinics'. Iron is a nutritional supplement required by the red blood cells to carry oxygen to other body cells and tissues. Orofer S 200 Injection 10 ml works by restoring the iron levels in the body. It also improves the quality of blood by increasing levels of haemoglobin (blood protein) and red blood cells.

Your doctor will decide the dosage based on your medical condition. In some cases, it may cause side effects like muscle cramps, nausea, vomiting, taste changes, diarrhoea, constipation, headache, cough, back pain, flu symptoms, joint pain, dizziness, and swelling of the arms and legs. Most of these side effects of Orofer S 200 Injection 10 ml do not require medical attention and gradually resolve over time. Brief your medical history to the doctor if you have any heart, liver or kidney diseases, iron overload disorders like hemochromatosis, lupus (immune disorder), low blood pressure, rheumatoid arthritis, asthma, and eczema before starting Orofer S 200 Injection 10 ml. Pregnant and breastfeeding women should consult the doctor before starting Orofer S 200 Injection 10 ml. Orofer S 200 Injection 10 ml may cause dizziness, hence drive or operate machinery with caution. Orofer S 200 Injection 10 ml is recommended in children above two years of age when prescribed by the doctor.
