MELSS provides end-to-end development and implementation of e-commerce and mobile commerce portals.
E-commerce portal deployment provides a complete online shopping solution for the end consumer, taking them on the journey from product selection to online payment to tracking delivery.

These portals include easy upload and display of multiple product images for each SKU. There may be thousands of SKUs offered via a single e-commerce portal. The product information, stock status and categorisation of all SKUs are integrated directly from the backend ERP. The MELSS shopping cart provides a multi-session shopping experience to customers. It also allows for easy product search and filtering and safe payment via online payment gateway integration with the required bank.

Logistics of delivery and order collection are also managed via the portal, determining multiple delivery slots based on detailed algorithms. Order picking is managed using Windows CE based Handheld Device with Barcode Scanning.

The e-commerce and m-commerce portals also provide for sales integration back to the ERP system, detailed automated reports, and all required alerts and notifications

MELSS works with businesses to develop custom-made solutions for stores and warehouse management. This includes:

• Stock Take and Material issue using Mobile Handheld devices

One implementation includes delivering a solution to identify objects and their location in the warehouse.

The solution involved a web-based application that shows a visual map of the warehouse with various Bays. All materials in the warehouse would have pallet-identifying numbers.

Every time a new material is carried in to the warehouse, its location is fed into a Handheld Device which wirelessly updates the Database. This essentially, allows the user to view the utilization of warehouse space as well as gives him/her the ability to view the location of every item in the warehouse.

The solution can also be implemented using barcode or RFID technologies, which MELSS has considerable experience working with.
