about assam down town university (ADTU)
the assam down town university, the second private university in assam, is sponsored by the down town charity trust which was formed in 1999 with the urge to do something for the underprivileged and deprived sections of the society in north eastern india.
as part of the goal to develop the regions human resource, the trust has established one of the largest educational projects in the north east. ADTU has been approved by the AICTE, starting 2010 session, for engineering, pharmacy and management education.
ADTU aims to establish a renowned world class educational campus in the north east region of the country.
